i had graduation in life sciences and masters in environmental science will i be eligible for UP pgt biology?
Hello,
For applying to this post you need to fulfill this eligibility criteria:
- Your minimum age should not be less than 21 as on 1 July 2021.
- For PGT you must have Post-Graduation Degree in a relevant subject.
- For TGT you must have possess a Graduation Degree in a relevant subject and B.Ed/BTC or any other training certificate
Now for doing PGT in biology you must have MSc in zoology or botany or you can have post graduation diploma. But I ma afraid you do not have relevant qualifications for this post. You neither have a pg diploma nor a MSc in zoology or botany.
Hopefully this will help!!

Am I eligible for UGC NET Environmental Science after completing M.tech in Biomedical Engineering?
Hi
Biomedical engineering is a combination of engineering , life sciences and healthcare.
Aspirants may appear for the examination with the subject in which they have completed their post-graduation or related to that subject as per the UGC NET exam guidelines.
Environmental science is not related to biomedical engineering!
Two organisations conduct NET exams namely UGC and CSIR.
The NET in Major Science Subjects, viz., Chemical Sciences; Earth Atmospheric Ocean & Planetary Sciences; Life Sciences; Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences is conducted jointly with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi.
Most closest to your field of study is life science.
The paper pattern and syllabus of CSIR NET life science could be found in the below link.
https://csirhrdg.res.in/Home/Index/1/InPage/37/26
You can avail the same benefits in CSIR NET as in UGC NET.
Both will make you eligible for lectureship or fellowship or both.
Hope this answers your query!
mene m. sc. zoologye s keya h to m eligible hu net for environmental science k ley???
Hello aspirant,
The eligibility for appearing for UGC NET are:
--> You must have to complete post graduation in any stream with an aggregate of 55% marks and without rounding off.
--> The age limit for JRF is below 30 but there is no age limit for the post of Assistant Professor.
--> You can apply for the UGC NET Exam only for the subject in which he has completed his master's degree/equivalent. But in case, the subject is not on the list, he may apply for the related subject.
As Zoology is related to environmental science it seems you can prepare for UGC NET.

Hope you are doing
Biotechnology is a field which contains an amalgamation of many streams, namely mathematics, chemistry, biology and technology.
Unfortunately , you can't do phd in biotechnology after doing Msc in environmental science as -
The candidates must complete their post-graduation in Biotechnology or Bioinformatics or any other relevant discipline from a recognized board or university in order to do Phd from biotechnology.
According to this you are not eligible.

iit last branches like biotechnology and environmental science or iiit cse
Hello,
I hope you are doing good,
I would not say that you should rely “entirely” on branch change in IIT. Think of it this way, you have just canceled one of the toughest tests in India, and at IIT you will meet guys of almost all ages and each looking for an opportunity to switch to a branch they could not afford at their first level. Therefore, it is undeniable that a former schoolboy who was absent will not be more than the average Joe there.
The branch change is the result of a continuous annual review of your scholarships, and you will likely be disciplined once or more during this time. Having said that, I would like to add that you should not be disappointed with these facts. Branch change is not as difficult as statistics make it. Ordinary study hours in college are enough to bring you branch change. But it wastes those hours of study that are hard to manage if you have too much to do here.
I hope this answer will help you.
THANK YOU!!!
