Homeostasis, aquatic Ecosystem-physico-chemical nature of lentic and lotic ecosystems. Types of aquatic ecosystemstructure and organization with examples of fresh water Ecosystem. Marine water ecosystem, estuarine water Ecosystem-Mangroves. Terrestrial Ecosystem: Tundra forest, Grassland, Desert ecosystem. Energy flow in ecosystems-Laws of Thermodynamics. Productivity-Biomass production, primary productivity and net productivity. Food Chain – Types of food chain with examples, Foodweb, Ecological pyramid of biomes. Number and energy-inverted ecological pyramids. Biogeochemical Cycles – Availability and rate of cycling of nutrients-gaseous and Sedimentary cycle.

and other subjects like soil fundamentals radioactive decay etc.

I believe B.Sc in Environmental Science at Ramanujan College, Delhi University will be a bettet option than the latter. Ramanujan College counts among one of the better colleges of Delhi University with good infrastructure, faculty and other facilities. Environmental Science itself is a much interesting subject with a lot of career scope and prospects. Even if you want to prepare for Government Examinations like UPSC, JAM or GATE, you can as the curriculum is much relaxed and student friendly.

As you mentioned your 247 marks in General Category in BHU PET exam. First of all, I want to tell you that, not specific seats are reserved for the females there. Only on the basis of cut-offs, people get seats in it.

You have scored well in the Exams and surely you will get admission there, but as Counselling process is going to start, you can register in that but might you don't get the main campus of BHU, which is not a very big deal.

You can opt for Environmental Science there and many seats are there for Female Categories also, so you can get admission through that also, but you have to wait for the final merit list from the College.

You have scored well and if you got in top ranks in Merit List after counselling, then for sure you are going to get a seat in the Central Campus too.

The candidate must have a Bachelors degree in science from a recognized university, candidate must have scored 55% marks in their bachelors degree whereas there is some relaxation for reserved category. The eligibility criteria varies from college to college as some universities also accept B.Tech or MBBS degree holders.

Let's clear you a think IIT always IIT. It have own glamour. If you get IIT Bombay in environmental science in my opinion you should take this opportunity. Because every year cut-off marks will change, question paper also change so next year you don't get this good rank so you will regrade for this.

Another think if you are not interested in this subject and you want to another subject and college is not matter you at all then you should avoid this opportunity. And you should take one year drop and prepare your self for better achivement.

The university declares BHU PET cut off 2020 for all categories including General (M and F), General (F), OBC, SC, ST, PWD and EWS. BHU PET 2020 cut off mentions the minimum rank candidates must have secured in PET to qualify in the exam and be considered for admissions into the university for PG courses.
