Which university is better academically as well as having better job exposure under MSc Environmental Science course - BHU or JNU?
I think BHU is a grad level course while JNU offers only at Masters and Doctoral level courses (MSc, M.Phil and PhD in Environmental Sciences), so technically you can go for BOTH.
But given the choice JNU Environmental Sc has no match. This is because of
- Extensive exposure
- Established research groups and properly oriented labs
- In terms of financial expenditures
- Campus life etc
ALL THE BEST

i want entrance exam syllabus of msc environmental science hpu 2020
Dear Aspirant,
For MSc Environmental Science the admission is based on merit basis.
HPU conduct entrance exam only if the the number of applications is five times the number of seats. The entrance exam consists of 100 questions with 1 mark each
The syllabus mostly includes topics related to your undergraduation and some topics likePhysics and Chemistry of Environment ,Water Resources, Ecology & Ecosystems,Biogeography, Land and soil Conservation and management, Environmental Biotechnology, Biodiversity etc
Hence the topics which are more related to environment will be there in syllabus
Hope this helps

basically I want to pursuing M.sc in environmental science ; Can I applicable to be an aspirant on csir net Life sciences ?!?
Hello Aspirant!
As Environmental science incorporates many aspects of Life Sciences in it, you can appear in CSIR-NET Life Science. But you will have to do a lot of extra hard work for CSIR-NET exam preparation apart from completing your post-graduate syllabus. The syllabus varies largely. If you are willing to pursue M.Sc. in Environmental Science, you should go for UGC-NET Environmental Sciences keeping in view the syllabus. It will be more helpful to you as per my knowledge.
I hope this answer will help you.
I want to fill NET form in environmental science subject. but there are 5 subjects which one should i opt? ..plz guide me.. these subjects are 1. Life sciences 2. earth, atmosphere, ocean & planetary science 3. physical science 4. mathematical sciences 5. chemical sciences.

Im in CBSE board .As vivekananda college thakurpukur does not conduct any entrance exam may I please know what should be my minimum percentage in boards to ensure a seat in bsc environmental science hons (general)
Hello Aspirant,
In Vivekanand College, Thakurpur there is no any entrance examination for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) course in environmental science. Admission is done solely on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of your 10+2 marks.
Since cut-off is bound to change every year depending upon various factors like availability of seats, number of applicants and so on so it is little bit difficult to predict the cut-off for this year.
For more details about Vivekanand College, Thakurpur you should refer to the link given below :-
