You need to have a Bachelor's degree from any field if you want to become a food inspector though a graduation degree in maths, biology, physics or agricultural sciences can be an added advantage. Also you need be healthy and have a good eyesight to perform tasks and have a keen eye on distinguishing food. There are government jobs in this field as well as private in the long run.

Hope you are doing well. If you want to get a job as event planner and for that has to do some courses with your engineering then you don't have to worry as there are many courses related to it. First you should improve your communication skills and thus have a good command over English then there are many event management courses or coaching that helps you in achieving that. Also you should try to take internship on event planner which will help you improve your skills.

MAT exam is a National Level exam which happens 4 times a year that is Feb, May, September and December. Every year approx 3 lakh plus student appear for the exam.  Also More than 600 colleges accept exam. If you appear for the exam then try to score above 700+ to get a call from Christ University, Bangalore or Bimtech, Greater Noida.

However, since NEET follows the CBSE syallabus strictly, some people find it suitable to shift to the CBSE board in their 11th and 12th. Otherwise student from any board can appear for NEET provided he has physics, chemistry , biology and english in his +2.

So you can pursue either Mass Communication or hospitality. BBA is done for the admininstrative level job.
