Does every college in mumbai of Engineering has EWS quota??
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
Yes, In accordance with the provisions of Government Resolution No. -4019/31/16- which is dated 12 February, 2019, 10 percent of seats will be reserved for candidates from the EWS. The Competent Authority will fill these seats through CAP as stated from time to time by the Government's policies. These seats are to be in excess of the sanctioned intake.
My EWS quota all India ranking is 30000 and marks 374 whether I willl get medical in government colleges??
Hi
It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like
------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,
------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,
------------) toughness level of the neet examination
------------) number of seats available
------------) the category you are from etc
Anyway,
when we go through previous year trends
>>>>>> With 374 marks,
You have low chances for mbbs in government colleges
But yes,
You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their cut off marks in neet 2020,2nd round all india counselling conducted for 100 % deemed university seats :-
-----------) Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar:-360 marks

----------) Saveetha Medical College, Chennai:- 265 marks

what is exactly ews quota? how does this help? how does the selection through this quota work?
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well, here's your answer.
EWS quota : Economically weaker section (EWS) in India is a subcategory of people belonging to the economy based unreserved category having an annual family income less than 8 lakh and who do not belong to any category such as SC/ST/OBC across India, nor to MBC in tamil nadu.
EWS certificate can be used to avail the 10% reservation for the Gen - economically weaker section in higher education all over the India and government jobs.
Hope this will help you.

Goodluck!
in neet form i have filled ews quota and i am a Maharashtra domicile but i have my ews from up so can i upload my up ews and maharastra domicile in 2 phase registration and participate via General qquota during counselling
Hello aspirant,
i want to inform you that it will be better that you make ews certificate from the state you are filling counselling form of. But at last it doesnot matter that from where you have made your documents but still for being safer side you can have that, but still you have one of different state it really should not bother you.
