Sir I scored 79% in 10th state board & 81% in 12th. 86% in B.com. I am fresher and i belong to sc category can i get Admission in. IIM ABC and What is the safe seat criteria to get admission IIM ABCLKI FMS IIFT
In general, all IIMs use a two-phase decision-making procedure. The CAT score is a deciding factor in the first phase. The WAT (Written Admission Test) and PI (Personal Interview) stages are completed by the shortlisted candidates from the first phase.
For confirmations, the vast majority of IIMs place the greatest emphasis on the personal interview and the CAT result. Academic cut-offs, previous academic success, appropriate professional experience, gender diversity, and other notable criteria can all influence the ultimate decision.
Each IIM has its unique admission standards, and there has been little change in the CAT cutoff or determination technique and criteria compared to the previous year.
The minimum percentile required for IIM A is 70 percentile for SC category.
Hope this helps
FMS, MDI, NMIMS, XLRI, JBIMS, SPJIMR, current batch academic profile ike How Many students study in these colleges who score 71- 80% or 81-90% their 10th 12th and Graduation
You do have a great number of students having an average academic record in the above Top Management Institutes as well as at IIMs. Some even have a Poor Graduation Score, but again they have the qualities and communication skills to impress at an interview and perform brilliantly in CAT, XAT, NMAT and other Top MBA Entrance Examinations, to overweigh their Poor Past Academic Record.
I personally know one of my seniors at college, having around 80-90% in 10/12 and a 7 CGPA in Graduation, ended up with 99.91 in CAT and Cracked IIML and a couple of more Good IIMs.
I have scored 88.6 in 10th and 58 in 12th expecting 7.0 in graduation (non-engg) and belongs to OBC. So according to this academic backgroud can i get into FMS Delhi and how much percentile in need to score in CAT 2021 ?
Hello Aspirant ,
You can definitely get into FMS if you work hard and get good percentile in CAT. Your 10th score is good but 12th and undergrad is comparatively less , however FMS doesn't give so much weightage to past academics and work experience compared to the rest of the other B- Schools. You have to be in the NC-OBC category to get reservation. The CAT percentile that you require would be anywhere from 95 and above. Getting 97 percentile and more is much easier to convert and wouldn't have to worry so much about GD-PI compared to a person who gets 94 percentile.
Hope this helps you! Good luck!
I got 9.4 CGPA in my 10th and 47% in my 12th grade if Ill get good percentage in my graduation so its possible to get a call from IIMs and FMS ?
Even if you secure 80%+ Grades in Graduation, having a somewhat low to average Academic record in 10th and 12th, assuming youre a General Category Aspirant, you require targeting none less than 99+ Percentile for fair chances of receiving Calls for Interview from some of the IIMs and Other Top Management Institutes like MDI, Old IITs, IMT G accepting admission on basis of CAT Scorecard.
At the same time you must also appear for other MBA Entrance Examinations like MAT, XAT, SNAP and NMAT, which too are gateways to some of the Good MBA Institutions of India.
Is JMI and FMS Delhi provides campus placement for Executive MBA .
Hi,
Well FM's and jmi do have a good executive MBA program and FMS is prized to have an amazing opportunity for students. But as far as executive MBA is concerned, placements can be less as compared to the full time MBA program in both the places. There is no specific data available about the placement of executive MBA program but it is less as compared to the flagship programmes.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
Wants to do Executive MBA. Please suggest which one is best for me between JMI and Delhi FMS.
Hi Aspirant,
Delhi FMS is better in pursuing Excecutive MBA.The faculties and infrastructure is quite good there along with presence of good classrooms and clean campus. The campus life is quite good here. The placement in this college is above 96 percent.Highest salary package is that Rs 58.5 LPA and average salary package is about Rs 25.6 LPA.The top recruiting companies like Amway,Cipla,ITC,Nestle,Wipro,UB etc.
