how will i get to know about the selection process , whether i have been selected for further rounds or not in FMS , NEW DELHI ?
Dear Aspirant,
Although the admission into FMS is based on your CAT percentile, One has to apply for it separately by filling up the form and paying the required application fee (INR 1000 for General and OBC Candidates, INR 350 for SC/ST/PWD Candidates). The application will generally be put up online between the 1st and 4th week of November.
After applying for FMS, then when the results came, FMS will call the candidates on the basis of their CAT score. Remember they do not call on previous academic performance but on the CAT score therefore you need to have a minimum of 99.60 percentile to expect a call from FMS( normal case ).
Hope this helps. Thank you.
have you seen any of your friends with low past acads and still made it to fms ?
Not from friends but I've heard of numerous examples who had low past academic background but still made it to FMS. One needs a very good cat score. ALSO, they need to be fully prepared for PI and WAT. Hope this helped!

Sir/Madam, I have 99% in 10th, 94.08% in 12th and 69% in bachelor degree. I belong to OBC-NC and my UG degree is in BA (ENGLISH LITERATURE). In CAT 2019, what score range should I get to receive calls from old IIMS and FMS ?
Dear Aspirant,
If you are aiming for IIM ABC ( Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta ) and Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, then you have to score a minimum of 98 percentile. You can get it even at 95 percentile but since your graduation marks are low, you have to score a minimum of 98 to get a call from anyone of the above mentioned colleges.
hope this helps. Thank you.
I am a SC category student. My Academic record is 83.60% (10th), 68.46% (12th) and 2.41/4.00 (Graduation). What should be my CAT score to get a call from FMS Delhi ?
Dear Aspirant,
FMS or the red building of dream as they say is one of the most sought after management schools in our country. To get a call from such an institution with so much of competition is not an easy task. Even with the SC reservation you have to score a minimum of 98 percentile to get a call from FMS due to limited number of seats and such a high competition.
Hope this helps Thank you.
On what basis are seats allotted for "CW" category students at FMS? Are "CW1" students preferred over "CW6" students irrespective of the later having higher score?
There are 12 seats allotted for CW as a whole. Admission of Candidates belonging to CW Category has to be made in the priority of as per guidelines approved by the Academic Council In this regards, CW1 takes priority over CW6. But then its just not the entrance exam score that is taken into consideration but also previous academic record, academic diversity are also considered.
