Sir I have 86.5% in secondary exam, 82% in higher secondary exam and 8.63 DGPA and I sm SC... What is needed CAT percentile for FMS?
From last year onwards FMS is giving 10 % weightage to past academics. Your past academics are decent enough. Based on your category, you need to score above 85 percentile for getting a call to the next round. Try scoring as high as possible as the weightage to CAT score is around 50% and hence the more percentile you have, better your chances are.
All the best!
I have academic score 64%in 12 and 62% in 10 so can I get top college through CAT when I have CAT score is good percentile
Hello Zaid! Your past academic records are average. You have first division marks, which would not be a hindrance to the eligibility criteria for taking entrance exams or applying to B-schools. However, considering the IIMs, FMS or other top B-schools which assign a particular weightage for the past acads, it would be difficult to get high marks in that parameter. Now take for instance, if you secure over 99 percentile in CAT, you will get a high score in the CAT parameter. But in the past academics parameter, your score would be moderate. Now coming to the weightages assigned to past acads and the composite score based on all the parameters, your admission chance will be decided, which may vary from B-School to B-School. A large part of your admission chance also depends on the fellow applicants and their score. For example, if a candidate secures 99-100 percentile, 90% marks in Class 10, 12 and a high percentage in graduation, s/he would automatically have a better chance than you. The admission process to B-schools like IIMs is unpredictable in that way.
Since you would be appearing for CAT 2018, I suggest you focus on the preparation aspect now rather than contemplating your admission chances. In case you are curious, you may look at the IIM admission criteria for 2018-20 here:

Which one is better among fms manav rachna/ gl bjaja/ ndim / sharda university
Hi. It depends on the course. If you are considering MBA, then I would suggest you to go for FMS as the fee is very low
(approx. 20,000) and the placement package is very high (average-15 lakhs). Also, it is a government college but it is difficult to get admission here.
Thank You!

Sir I have 55perc.in grad.(bba) 63in 12th(Arts) 54in 10th if I score well in cat exam should I get a chance to get adm. in to iims/fms delhi
Hi Monty,
Your academic scores make you eligible to apply for CAT exam. The CAT cutoff for older IIMs such as IIM Ahmedabad, Calcutta and Bangalore, is very high (90 percentile and above). The same goes for FMS, MDI, SPJIMR, and other top B-schools in India. Newer IIMs such as IIM Jammu, Sirmaur, Sambalpur, Nagpur etc (85 percentile and above). have relatively less cutoff for the admission process.
If you score well in the CAT exam, you will be shortlisted for the admission process at top B-schools. During the selection process, you will appear for GD, Writing Test and PI rounds. Your academic scores and work experience will also be considered before you get the final admission offer.

Hi Priya,
Your MAT Score which can fetch you MBA Admission in a good management college. I am a student of Faculty of Management Studies, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (Formerly MRIU) and pursuing MBA Dual Specialization. This is my second year and I can say that I have been able to apply my knowledge effectively due to the regular industry visits, guest lectures by management leaders, CEO Talks, seminars, and compulsory internships. I am recently working on a case study and that is helping me know about the real-life business problems and how a management person is expected to react to those. I have also gone through the 40 hours Business Process Course of SAP offered by the institute and has been included in the curriculum of all MBA programs. They also offer 4-tier mentoring program which helps us develop as a person and a leader.
Apart from MBA Dual Specialization, they also offer MBA in Human Resource Management and MBA in Healthcare Management in association with Fortis Healthcare. You can choose any of the courses as per your interest. In healthcare Management, they have tie-up with Fortis for internship and 6-month hospital attachment.
However, I can just give you suggestions and it is completely your call to choose the course and institution.
