My family income is less than 7 lpa ; am I eligible for getting need based scholarship (fee waiver ) in IIMs A,B,C,L,k,I Xlri,MDI,Fms,Nitie, etc??
hey there bud,
IIMB extends and provides a financial aid to students in need of financial assistance.
various scholarship provided by them are
- Aditya Birla Scholarship:
- OPJEMS Scholarship:
- Siddhartha Padam Award:
- Hindustan Unilever
- Yes Bank Scholarship: r
- Ministry of Tribal Affairs Scholarship
the whole fees situation might seem like a pickle but dont worry . because of the brand value of IIMs, BANKS came to a rescue by providing educational loans free of collateral only for iim students.(you may want to see SBI SCHOLER LOAN list for this)
IIMS might seem little pricey but the return on investment is worth every penny.
visit iim's official site for more info relating to the loan .

Does FMS Delhi provide distance learning MBAs?
Dear Aspirant, FMS Delhi provides distance learning MBA. FMS distance MBA gives equal opportunity to every student to customize its learning process as per their unique strength. FMS distance MBA, Delhi focuses on the programs on learning not just teaching. I hope you are clear now. Feel free to ask if you have any other queries. All The Best for your future.
Are there any chances that a CW6 candidate with 99 percentile will be able to make it to FMS if he is not able to get through the general category or will there always be an inclination towards CW1, CW2 subcategory irrespective of total score?
Hello Student
Student is related to to Defence category defence quota category. FMS category is related to full missions capable category in the Defence. Defence category student can enjoy quota reservation for any kind of admission. The rules and regulations approved by the admission Council says that cw1 category student enjoys more chances than CW6 category of student. There is total 12 seats reservation for cw category student it so getting 99 percentile of CW6 category student. admission is not so easy. In regards admission the chances of CW1 category student is more bright than CW6 category of student
This will help.
I can apply for FMS as both general and CW6 category but I will be 25years old on 06/05/2022 which I think can create issue regarding validity of CW category. What should I apply as?
Hello Amit,
Faculty of Management Studies is affiliated to University of Delhi and is a renowned college offering admissions to MBA, one of the popular post graduate courses for getting a job in corporate sector among students. FMS is one of the best management colleges of India offering MBA at the cheapest rate i.e. the fees is around 2 lakhhs only but the placements are no less than IIMs. No doubt, IIMs has its brand value, but FMS is also too good to pursue your masters in business administration at the cheapest price with the best return of investment. The adminissions in MBA are taken through a valid CAT score along with the Group Discussion, Personal Interview and an extempore. The college has released the admission criteria for 2022 on its official website. Candidates willing to take admission in FMS, Delhi can apply till December 25, 2021 through online mode.
There are 101 seats for general category and 12 seats for CW category students. You can apply for either of the categories but not for both. There is no age bar to apply for CAT and take admission in MBA.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you!
How good is FMS as compared to IIMs?
Hello, I hope you are doing well
Let's just compare IIMs and FMS in every aspect and see which one is better.
IIMs charge a huge fee of Rs. 10 LPA(average) whereas the FMS Fee is quite affordable i.e. Rs. 65,690.
IIMs and FMS both have a pretty good brand value, but there comes no second thought in saying that IIMs have better brand value and has it's own class.
The Faculty and academics at IIMs are way better than FMS, not that FMS has got bad faculty, it's just the fact that IIMs are better.
Coming to the placement part, IIM graduates get a package of around Rs. 18 LPA, but FMS graduates are not that far behind in this particular criteria they also manage to grab a package of 14-16 LPA.
Hope this helps.
can i get a call and convert fms or iit delhi at 93.8 cat percentile and composite score 33 with academics 10th/12th/BSc 10/91/7.4 (male) and no work experience for ncobc??
Hello There Aspirant!
You should be able to secure a call from both, FMS and IIT Delhi with this score. However, the conversion depends more on the personal interview and further selection grounds. A good performance in GD/PI will definitely be in your favor owing to the fact that the cat weightage in final admission has gone down and GD/PI have higher weightage now.
Hope this helps and All the best!
Sir, I am an SC category student. I have scored 49 in slot 1 (VA- 18/ LR - 8/ Qa - 23). My 10th - 82, 12th - 81, graduation - 65.3. Can i get a call and convert FMS Delhi
Hello There!
There is a pretty slim chance that you might get in but it all depends on the personal interview. The weightage of this process is 15% of the total composite score. This is the first interaction that you have with professors. You should prepare profoundly and be aware of the current affairs. The next important thing is the knowledge of your graduation subjects and what you did in your internships and courses.
All the best!
I am belong to OBC category and CW6 (defense wards) how much minimum marks should I score to get a call from FMS delhi and I have 77.9 high school, 75.6 intermediate, 79.4Btech mechanical please answer as soon as possible
Hello Candidate!
To get into FMS one has to give CAT exam on the basis of which they provide Composite score (this score is arrived by considering weightage of 40% VACR section, 30% LR/DI section and 30% QA Section of the CAT exam).
For the OBC category composite score is 35.384 and for CW6 is 37.670.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Presently I am in bcom 2nd year and looking forward to give cat 2022 and if I get good percentile and get selected in Gd/pi and clear it also. can i am able to do bcom 3rd year and Mba 1st year simultaneously. My dream college is Fms delhi
Dear Aspirant,
Wishing you the best for CAT 2022. The minimum eligibility criteria for pursuing MBA in FMS Delhi is as follows-
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute.
- The admission is based primarily on their CAT scores, their entrance test score, and personal interview.
- Open category candidates need a minimum of 50% in graduation, while students in reserved categories need 45%.
- Applicants must score as per the prescribed norms in any national, state, and university level examination.
So as per the requirement you will have to complete your graduation to be selected in FMS Delhi. But you can definitely give it a try to know where you stand. Hence you can not pursue MBA while still in your Bcom course.
i have 55.6 parcentage in class 10 and 74.7 parcentage in class 12 so FMS call me or not
Hello,
The FMS selection criteria include the weighting of the CAT, academic achievement, Extempore and PI, as well as a consideration of the Statement of Purpose. Women applicants who present for the interview will receive an extra five points.
Graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate or comparable CGPA is the minimum eligibility condition for admission to FMS, Delhi. The minimum aggregate necessary for restricted category students is 45 percent. Students in their final year or equivalent of a bachelor's degree programme are also eligible to apply.
Hope this helps.
