Among the two choices you have, chandigarh university is way better than YMCA faridabad in all aspects.

Chandigarh university has a very nice and big campus . Placement record of CSE of previous years is also better as compared to YMCA.
the faculty, campus, fees, placement records everything is better are Chandigarh university
it also has higher rating than YMCA

No, you cannot get admission in YMCA Faridabad without giving JEE main if you are a regular student. Once you have given the JEE main, you will have to go through the counselling process considering you have registered and paid for counselling, then only you will be able to secure a seat.

First of all congratulations for scoring 89.543 percentile in jee mains.

But I am sorry to say that with the given percentile you have mentioned you won't be able to secure a seat in CS OR ECE in YMCA faridabad.

however the cutoffs are for previous years.lets hope that you get seat in desired college.

Both colleges you mentioned are good and if you have interest in some particular branch then you should definitely go for it. If you are neutral about the branch choice I will give a brief comparison between the two institutions.

1. Placement - Average package at YMCA is around 11-12 LPA for Cse branch while in NIT Kurukshetra it is around 6-7 LPA.

2. Overall College Review- NIT has a higher ranking than YMCA. Infrastructure and labs are better at NIT

DU is a better option to choose. It provides quality education, experienced faculty, and provides good internship opportunities.it is a three-year course. Companies like Deloitte, Oyo,zomato, ITC provide many job offers with an average package of 5.7LPA so it will be a good choice if you prefer DU.
