Hello Aspirant
For a fashion design course, you'll need creative thinking, innovative ideas, critical analysis, a grasp of current trends, and other abilities like drawing and rendering. In class 11, there are no restrictions on which stream you must select. You can enrol in any stream of science, art, or commerce that interests you.

Does Madras University have fashion designer related courses?
There’s a whole Madras Institute of Fashion Technology if you want to check that out.
In Madras University, theres B.Sc courses in designing. It’s not limited to fashion and wear but if you’re looking to stay in Madras University then that’s a good option you can pick. However, if you’re willing to broaden your horizon then NFT is a great institute.
hi ,Can anyone tell me which group and college is better for class 11 for fashion designer
See there are two undergraduate programs in Fashion Designing. One is B.Des in Fashion Designing and the other is BSc Fashion Designing. Now both the courses are open for any discipline or stream in 10+2. So it doesn't matter what stream you are in your 12th, the thing you need to focus is on the entrance examination.
So its suggested that you should take the stream in which you are interested in and then prepare for the entrance examination.
The top entrances are-
- CEED
- NID DAT
- NIFT examination
- IICD
- IIAD
- AIEED
- UCEED
