FSM admission .procedure and suitability
Hey aspirant!
Fore School of Management (FSM) is a B-school located in South Delhi. It provides many courses related to management like PGDM, FPM, PGDM International Business etc for its students. You have not specified the name if the course and hence it is difficult to answer your query. The admission to PGDM course takes place by shortlisting candidates based on their CAT percentile/XAT percentile/GMAT score, then these shortlisted candidates have to appear for Written Ability Test and Personal Interview and then final selection is done on basis of many factors like CAT score, work experience, Written Ability test and Personal Interview Performance etc. In case of FPM course, candidate are selected for selection interview based on their score in one of the following competitive examinations: CAT/GATE/GRE/GMAT/JRF-UGC/CSIR/ FORE Entrance Test, the shortlisted candidates are then called for Personal Interview based on several selection factors like academic record, performance in above mentioned tests etc.
Hope it helps.
score expected by college this year
hi,
fore school of management is one of the pioneer institute in india, according to NIRF the colleges ranks 34th position among mba colleges in india. for mba admission cat/xat or gmat score is excepted. however cutoff score changes every year and it also depends on questions difficulty level, number of participants etc, however for cat/xat you need to get more than 85 percentile, for gmat 600+ score is a good score to get calls.

How good is Executive PGDM in this job market? FSM has just started it this year,Is it recommended to opt it this year? During final placements is it mandatory to mention past package drawn? Is the package depends on the previous package drawn?
Hi Ravi,
The Executive Post Graduate Management course or the PGDM is currently the best one year full time management course that is offered by some of the best Business schools for business and corporate executives who want to learn more about the industry.
With the induction of one year PGDM course at FMS, Delhi it is surely supposed to attract the talented executives who want to learn so much about the industry but lack the finances to do so.
It is mandatory to have a past work experience certificate to join the course as this course is for working executives only and thus during the placements it is essential to produce the last pay package that they were offered at their last place of employment as it helps the employers get an idea of the person before the PGDM course and where his/ her current stand is and thus it somewhat affects the future pay package that is supposed to be offered during placements to some extent. But rest assured that if your are academic, smart and bold during the tenure of the course then you are most definitely to get a lucrative pay package.
BEST WISHES!
Is hostel include in college fees
No.
The hostel fees is never included in the college fees.
It is charged seperately.
The amount given in the college fees is only the amount of course you want to pursue.
Thankyou!
I want to admiss for iim. So please guide me who is the best college for me iims, fsm and jbism.
Hi Shree, to get into any of the three colleges mentioned above, you need to strive hard and prepare well for the CAT exams. All the three colleges accept CAT Scores only.
The CAT exam consists of three sections namely,
1) Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
2) Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
3) Quantitative Ability
One needs to score more than 150/300 on a minimum scale to get 99+ percentile and a score of 130+ for a 95+ percentile and a score of around 105+ for 90+ percentile. However I have mentioned it on a raw analysis. It varies every year based on various criterias.
The top of all the three colleges is IIM and it has older, new, newer IIMs for which a minimum of 90 percentile is required.
The older IIMs like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta expect around 98+ percentile, whereas Indore, Kozhikode and Kanpur expect around 96+ percentile. The new IIMs like Lucknow, Trichy etc. Expect around 93-94 percentile and the new ones like Jammu Kashmir expect around 88-90+ percentiles.
Next comes JBIMS, which is a top college in Mumbai domicile and top 10 colleges of India. They expect a CAT cutoff of 95+ percentile. It is the best Return of Investments colleges in India, wherein the fees is low amd placement is very high.
FORE is third of the list, which is a good college which expects a percentile of around 85+ in CAT exams.
CAT exam is one of the toughest exams, which not only requires hard work, but lot of practise and smart work to ace. A lot of mock exams need to be taken and good analysis needs to be done for the mock exams.
For IIMs you need to apply separately, you apply for them during the CAT application form filling itself. But for the other two colleges, you need to apply separately with the CAT scores.
After getting selected via CAT scores, you need to ace the GD-PI rounds of the respective colleges and the cummulative performance of all along with your academic scores and work experience, provide you admission to the colleges. All the best !!!

Last year XAT Cut-off is 85.25 for PGDM & 80.20 for PGDM IB.
can i get a call from Tapmi, Fore(Delhi) , Great lakes(chennai) with a score of 25.1 in xat 2019 ?
Hello Rittick,
Since you have given the XAT exam and your score is 25.1, I would like to tell you that there are chances that you might, not sure, but you might get a call.
The chances are slim because the colleges that you have mentioned above require a minimum of 90 percentile.
Still, hoping for the best, there is a chance you might get a call.
