Is caste certificate issued by niyab naamak in gujarat valid for FMGE exam ?
Hello,
For the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) , candidates from reserved categories must submit a valid caste certificate. In Gujarat, caste certificates are typically issued by the Mamlatdar or Deputy Collector. The term "Niyab Naamak" is not commonly associated with the issuance of caste certificates in Gujarat. To ensure your certificate's validity for FMGE, it should:
-
Be issued by the competent authority, such as the Mamlatdar or Deputy Collector.
-
Include accurate personal details and caste information.
-
Be within its validity period, as some certificates may require renewal.
It's advisable to verify the issuing authority's designation and consult the FMGE guidelines or contact the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for specific requirements. Additionally, ensure that your caste certificate aligns with the format and stipulations set by the NBE for examination purposes.
Hope it helps !

Hello,
Don't worry, here is what you can do :
-
Name Accuracy Importance : The name on your FMGE application must match official documents, like your passport or ID. Discrepancies can lead to issues during verification.
-
Common Mistakes : Omitting a surname is a common mistake but can potentially cause problems with eligibility or document checks.
-
Non-Editable Fields : If your name field isn’t editable, you’ll likely need further assistance to correct it.
-
Immediate Action :
- Contact Support : Reach out to the FMGE exam helpdesk or NBE (National Board of Examinations) immediately via their official contact channels or email.
- Documentation : Be prepared to provide identification that matches the correct name to support your case.
-
Outcome : Without correction, your application might be at risk of being flagged during verification, potentially affecting your eligibility. Early intervention increases the chance of resolution.

Hi ayushi, did you got ur neet result what did you upload in application form, actually I am having same issue I got clearance from nta , I upload that's paper but got rejected , pls tell me also whatever you have done
i will be appearing for FMGE exam in 2024 december . i have NEET qualification but there is difference in DOB in my medicine degree and in my score card . please tell me how can i apply for the screening exam .
Hello Suhana,
For the FMGE exam , your documents must match, especially your date of birth across certificates. Since there's a discrepancy in your DOB between your medicine degree and NEET scorecard , you should first get this corrected.
Here’s what you can do:
-
Contact your medical college
to correct the DOB on your degree or issue a letter verifying your correct DOB.
-
Reach out to NBE (National Board of Examinations)
, explaining the situation and submitting any supporting documents (like birth certificate, passport) that confirm your correct DOB.
- If needed, get an affidavit from a notary stating your actual DOB and explaining the discrepancy.
Once you have all corrected or supporting documents, you can proceed with your FMGE application without issues.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
I lost my NEET UG 2019 Score Card what to do ? I need to attach a copy of my score card in the upcoming fmge exam . I checked my email and ask my contractor if he has a copy of my score card but it were to no help. I also contacted NTA Helpdesk they say that they cant help in this matter and tell to send email to NTA .After that i send many emails to get a duplicate of my score card but dont get any reply. What to do ???
Hey there,
If you've lost your NEET UG 2019 scorecard and NTA hasn't responded to your email requests for a duplicate, you can try the following steps:
-
Re-send the email to NTA : Ensure that you're emailing the correct address. Include all relevant details (like NEET roll number, registration number, date of birth, etc.) and explain your urgency for the FMGE exam. Use a polite but clear subject line like " Urgent: Request for NEET UG 2019 Duplicate Score Card ."
-
Contact NTA via different channels : Besides email, try:
- Calling the NTA helpdesk again and ask to escalate your issue.
-
Reach out to
NTA on social media platforms
(like Twitter), as public posts sometimes receive faster responses.
-
Contact your NEET exam center : If you remember your exam center, you can inquire if they have any retained records or additional guidance on how to retrieve your scorecard.
-
Legal route : If none of the above works, you may consider submitting an affidavit stating the loss of your scorecard along with the proof of attempts made to retrieve it (emails, screenshots of conversations, etc.). This can be submitted to the FMGE authorities as an interim solution while you continue trying to get a duplicate scorecard.
Lastly, ensure to keep all communication records and screenshots of your attempts to show sincerity in your efforts.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
