A forensic pathologist must first earn a bachelor's degree, then a medical degree, either an M.D. or D.O. Extensive additional education and training is required, including four to five years of training in anatomic, clinical and/or forensic pathology and a one-year residency or fellowship in forensic pathology.
You must opt Science in Class 12th with the PCB. You must hold an MBBS degree from a recognised medical college. After MBBS, the candidate can go for MD with specialisation in Pathology. B.Sc in Pathology followed by a Master's degree can also help candidates to pursue a career as a Forensic Pathologist.

BSc Forensic Science is a 3-year graduate course that involves the application of scientific knowledge for the investigation of crimes.
Some colleges like Vivekananda University take in students directly on the basis of marks in Class 12 Boards exam.
And lastly NEET is not required for admission.
