This year, in the mechanical branch, only one student got placed with a good salary, but 4-5 students got placement offers, but they refused the job because of very low salary. The computer science students get placement way better than ME & CE, but if the student has talent, then he/she will surely get placed with an amazing salary. GALGOTIA ENGINEERING COLLEGE:. Placements :The salary package offered to placed students was between 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Most of the students got placed in mass recruiter companies. Companies that mostly visit the college are TCS, Cognizant, Mahindra, etc. The students whose CGPA is around 7 are mostly get placed in the campus placements. The students who want the package around 3 LPA to 4 LPA can join here

If you want to take admission in Galgotias college then you should have given Upsee but if you want to take admission in Galgotias University then you can come and apply.
Remember if you want to apply applications are submitted and counseling is also done in college for university also. And one more thing is if you take admission in University then as your PCM is 92.6% then you will get a scholarship.

Akhil, IET lucknow with no doubt is the best college of affiliated to AKTU, no other college of AKTU is gives a competition to IET Lucknow.
reasons are as follows:
1. Highest cutoff
2. Government college
3. Top notch best faculty
4.Availability of scholarships for complete waiver on tuition fees for EWS.
5. Academically flexible : Only worthy subjects are taught.
6. Best location : Al coaching centres within 2km reach
7. Good placements : TCS, WIPRO, Indian Army, Merchant NAvy, Snapdeal, Honda Cars. etc.
Only problem is with infrastructure and as it is government the college authority is not much responding to student's issues.

Cutoff basically depends on the number of persons appearing for a given exam and the number of students who have filled the corresponding institute or college form. More is the number of students who have filled the admission form the cut off will definitely increase. But if the number of students filling the form is less than the cutoff will decline .
So it all depends on the number of students filing the form. Cutoff vary from year to year and at some times you may see that it may go higher while at some times it may decline and lower rank may take admission in the college.
So basically predicting the cutoff before it comes is difficult as it may vary this year but you can always predict the cutoff depending on the last year admissions.

Your rank is very very high in order to get admission in Galgotias college of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida. In most of the UPTU Colleges there are two ways to get admission. First is the UPSEE Counselling Mode and the second is the Merit Based Admission process. You can also apply via the second method if you wan to take admission in Galgotia. This is done on the basis of your Class 10th, Class 12th and Entrance examination marks. They might take short test followed by an interview on the basis of which you will get branch options.
