Since you are working in MNC, you can give Gate exam & get admission in IITs & NITs for MTech admission. The best way to get an Mtech Admission is by qualifying GATE exam & taking admission in either of the government institutes.

Once you get a good score in GATE, you can easily try & get a good college for Mtech admission for your course. You need to apply for Mtech courses throughout India & you will get a call for interview & in some institutes you will have to give written tests too.

Till now in official website there is no notifications available regarding the results, due to an outbreak of CIVID-19 as a global pandemic, many of the exams has delayed and joining date is also delayed, so you need to wait for the results.

Salim, it depends on when is the supplementary exam due to clear your Backlog. Technically, you should have passed in all subjects atleast at the time of admission or else your seat stands cancelled. But if you have already appeared for the backlog and then you are awaiting the results, then you can appear for counselling by producing a valid proof of document until the pre final semester that you fulfil all the eligibility criteria until pre final semseter.

No, the final merit list depends on your GATE score, performance in interview, your academics.  Any past work experiences may help you in shortlisted for the final list of candidates but recommendation does not work.If you have scored decent GATE score and performed well in GATE then you will definitely get through merit list.
