sir i have qualified in GATE 2020 with 10200 air in electrical engineering. I have Applied appgect without gate. now I want to get appgect through gate 202 . is there any problem for me to register for appgcet through gate as I have already applied for appgcet 2020
Hello,
Yes, you can apply for AP PGECET based on GATE score as well as AP PGECET entrance exam. It should be noted that first priority is given for candidates with valid GATE score. The seats are first filled through GATE score and the remaining seats are filled through AP PGECET score. You can only join in one college and branch if you are allotted seat thru both GATE and AP PGECET score.
can we expect WBSEDCL gate 2020 recruitment and what will be the expected vacancy for electrical engineering?
hi,
see due to covid 19 pandemic many of the exams has rescheduled and till now many of the psus has not released its gate recruitment notifications, generally wbsedcl recruitment process includes shortlisted of candidates plus , written test or gd and personal Interview. last year for electrical engineering stream vacancy was 246, so this year there is chances of less vacancy for electrical branch. however it is not sure when the notifications would out.
mean while you may use careers360 gate college predictor and psu calling tools to know about your probable chances,

How is IIT Hyderabad for M Tech in mechanical? Is it worth doing? How are placements?
Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad is the fastest growing 2nd generation IIT and has also outpaced many older IITs in many pointers. So, as far as the placement in MTech mechanical is concerned, then replying to a RTI, IIT Hyderabad stated that in the 2017-19 batch, 16 students were placed out of 25 and in 2018-19 batch, 17 were placed out of 24, which is a great number.
So, in all IIT Hyderabad is a good place to pursue MTech in Mechanical engineering. All the best!
should I appear in gate counciling via gate 2020 score
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
The GATE exam is held in February every year but the validity of the GATE scorecard is three years . This implies a candidate once qualified GATE 2021 will be eligible for admission until three years from date of result announcement. So, YES,you can appear for gate counciling via gate 2020 score.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck

Your query is not clear. Are you talking about your GATE score of the previous year or this year?
In any case, your GATE score is valid for up to 3 years. I am giving a general overview of the GATE exam. Given that you have qualified for GATE last year it can help you either enroll in a master's degree through CCMT 2021.
CCMT gives admissions to MTech/MPlan/MDes/MArch programs based on the GATE score of this year and the previous years. As of now, registration for CCMT is closed. CCMT primarily is for admissions in all NIT'S, few IIIT's and GFTI's.
You can find more details of CCMT here:
https://ccmt.nic.in/WebInfo21/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P
You can also enroll in COAP which is the common offer acceptance portal. This is for admissions in Mtech programs at IIT's and Isc Bangalore.
You could access the direct link or the link below for more details.

M.tech in Mechanical- JNTU hyderabad or Osmania University? Which one is better?
Hello,
JNTU and Osmania, both these universities are equally good, well- equipped, good infrastructure, faculty, and a good course curriculum.
If you look at the NIRF ranking set up by the Government of India, then JNTU stands at 42 and Osmania at 80.
The placement opportunities at both these colleges are equally good, and in the end it doesn't matter from which you pass out from, only the amount of knowledge you have gained matters the most which will help you in your career further.
Hope this helps!
I qualify gate 2020 in general category .can i take admission in ccmt 2021 under ews category.
Hi there,
As mentioned in the FAQ's by CCMT here
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://ccmt.nic.in/WebInfo/File/GetFile%3FFileId%3D14%26LangId%3DP&ved=2ahUKEwiGtvbvu5rxAhXBZSsKHQQVBakQFjAAegQIBxAC&usg=AOvVaw0ZFVYmZgK2CKR3pKkjZTCt
It is not possible.
Please make sure you fill in the category properly as you will be liable to produce the correct certificate, failing which you will be considered under the general category.
Any additional CCMT related information is available here https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/ccmt
I hope this information helps.
Good Luck!
I have given GATE 2020 as GEN can I take admission this year as GEN-EWS with that score with proper EWS certificate.
hi,
see your gate score is categorized as general category and you have got this score based on the results analysis of candidates belongs to general category. so even if you have proper and valid ews certificate you are not eligible to apply for admission as gen ews since your gate score category is general. so you should apply as general category or need to again appear in gate exam in next year.
To know about complete list of probable college name, based on your score, category please use Careers360 college predictor tool,
