how much fees required to study btech genetic engineering without entrance exam
hello aspirant,
B. Tech. Genetic Engineering is a 4- year undergraduate course.
The total fees for B.tech gentic Engineering varies from colleges to colleges, but in general the average fees structure for B.tech Gentic Engineering is around INR 2 to 10 Lacs per annum.
Genetic engineering includes the genetic modification techniques used to achieve the desired characteristic in one living organism. The composition of DNA is altered by either insertion of the gene of desired characteristics that is artificially prepared or obtained from other living organisms.
The eligibility criteria for Btech Genetic Engineering is 10+2 or equivalent qualification from any recognized board (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths as major subjects); minimum aggregate of 50%.

I am studying intermediate 2nd year bipc I would like to study genetic engineering is it possible?
Hi
Yes, it is definitely possible to study genetic engineering even if you are doing class 12th with PCB means you don't have maths.
But yes ,
Only a few engineering colleges offer genetic engineering to PCB student without maths
For example,
You can pursue genetic engineering without having maths in class 12th in SRM
For reference,
Here's SRMJEE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-
Academics |
Eligibility Required |
********** All B.Tech(except Biotechnology, Bio-medical Engineering & Genetic Engineering) |
†††† For SRM AP branch it is at least 60% in 12th. |
|
------)Mathematics or ------) Biology or ------) Botany or ------)Zoology or ------)Biotechnology as main subjects in 12th. |
********** Others |
12th from NIOS is accepted but should have done 10th from regular board and not from NIOS |
International Baccalaureate (IB) / Diploma / A-level with
are also eligible |
