MTech Geotechnical Engineering Colleges in India admission without gate exam pass
Big institute like IITs, IISCs, and NITs requires GATE exam for m tech but there are some sponsered seats for the students without gate exam candidates need to appear for specific MTech entrance exam.other than this many provate universities take CUET pg scores for admission in m.tech geotechnical engineering.integral university and sharda University conducts their own exam.
I have got water resources Engineering at IIT Guwahati in round 5 of COAP and i accepted and freeze it . I would like to upgrade to geotechnical engineering. What should I do?Is there any internal upgradation process in iit guwahati after all coap round
There isn't a formal internal upgrade process at IIT Guwahati after all COAP rounds for changing branches.
COAP (Committee on Applied Sciences Programs) is a centralized allotment system ensuring transparency and fairness. Once you have accepted and frozen your seat, it's unlikely to be reopened for internal upgradation.
IIT Guwahati has a specific number of seats allocated for each program. Upgrading you to Geotechnical Engineering might take away a seat from someone who might have preferred it during COAP.
Contact the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Guwahati. Explain your situation and inquire if there's any exceptional circumstance where an internal transfer might be possible (highly unlikely but worth a try).
While you can't switch branches now, keep these options in mind for the future After completing your B.Tech in Water Resources Engineering, you can pursue an M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering at IIT Guwahati or other institutes. This would allow you to specialize in Geotechnical Engineering.

Are Geotechnical post graduates eligible for both CSIR NET and UGC NET? If yes, then which sujects are suitable for them in CSIR NET and UGC NET?
You can appear for earth science in CSIR NET if you passed the master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University securing 55% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories such as SC/ST/PwD, CSIR NET is mainly for science subjects such as earth science, mathematical science, biological science, chemical science, physical science, explore more detailed information regarding this at https://competition.careers360.com/articles/csir-ugc-net/amp
however UGC NET is conducted for total of 81 subjects ,you can check out more detailed information about this by visiting our page at https://competition.careers360.com/exams/ugc-net/amp
