is GRE is required for doing MS in Germany?
As far as Top Universities like TU Berlin, TU Munich, RWTH Aachen are concerned, GRE Score is required for Graduate Admission Purposes. However, Many Universities in Germany dont require the GRE Score mandatorily and you should check it up with the University's Admission Office. As far as Indian Students are concerned, German Universities RWTH Aachen and TU Munich also accepts GATE Scorecard besides GRE for Admission Purposes along with the TOEFL/IELTS Score.

Which option is better? 1. Do Btech in India and complete Ms in Germany. or 2. Do Btech in Germany and settle there.
I will list down the necessary points that should be taken into consideration and leave the decision to you.
Germany will provide you good education, but that will come at a cost as the accomodation, travel, food expenses and every other living expense will cost you some big bucks.
There are suitable options in India too if you work hard enough. You can work hard and earn a handsome sum of money if you graduate from IIT
In India, obviously the competition is tough obviously because of the population. But similarly you see if you can succeed here then you have high chances of succeeding in Germany.
So, in the end it all comes down to you. If you have good grades then you can stay here and earn the same amount or maybe more. Else, you can go to Germany if you have a good amount of money support.

Im a class 11 pcm student. I want to do engineering in CS.I dont wanna give JEE cuz I dont think ill be able to get a good rank, consequently I wont get a good college. So I want to go to Germany after 12th but i have a twin sis so my parents cant afford the expenses. please guide me.
Hello,
You are just in class 11th and still have ample time to prepare for your JEE Mains exam. With proper hardwork and dedication I am sure you will be able to crack it. But it is still good to have a back up option of studying abroad for the worst case scenario.
Let us first discuss on how you can crack JEE Mains exam.
Below I have provided some tips for preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced examinations.
-
The most important thing that has to be done first is to understand the exam pattern, the dates and the syllabus . This helps you to understand which topics you will have to spend more time on and plan your timetable accordingly.
The syllabus for JEE Main: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-syllabus
The syllabus for JEE Advanced: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-syllabus
-
Once you get to know about the syllabus and the dates, now you can set a timetable. You can decide how many days or hours you will be keeping for each subjects, revision and to practice previous year papers and mock tests. Manage time in a way that you spend enough time on difficult topics and also ensure that you have ample time for revision and practice.
-
Another important thing to keep in mind is to find the correct books for you . Some books may be hard to follow, so try to get materials that are written in a student friendly language. Below I have given a link where you can find details about the best study materials
Mains: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/best-study-material-for-jee-main
Advanced: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/best-books-for-jee-advanced
-
While studying the subjects make sure you keep note of important points and equations in a separate book . This will come in handy at the time of revision.
-
Once you are done studying the subjects start revising and doing previous year papers and mock question papers on a daily basis . This helps you to recollect the formulas, gives you an idea on where you have to improve and will also help you to manage time better. Make it a point to solve atleast one paper every day during the month you have kept apart for revision and practicing question papers.
Below I have shared a link where you can get sample question papers.:

v https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-mock-test
-
Another important thing is that don’t study anything new at the last minute and this can create confusions.
-
NEVER TAKE YOUR HEALTH FOR GRANTED . Get proper sleep, eat healthy food and keep your self hydrated. Ensure that you do not stress your self too much and give enough time to relax and take breaks. Always remember that if you are stressed out then take a break as it would not bring out any good results when you put yourself in more stress.
-
Finally, on the day of the exam relax and don’t get tensed. Keep your mind clear and give the exam. You will surely be able to do well.
Following these and being completely dedicated to this, I am sure you will be able to get into one of the best IITs.
Now if in any case you do not get a good rank and want to go abroad or you have a desire to study abroad, and as yo have mentioned that you have a twin sister and your parents may find it hard to arrange tuition fees for both of you, then you can try for some scholarships. I have shared with you a link below which will give you a list and details of the scholarships available in Germany and some of the top universities you can try for:
https://studyabroad.careers360.com/articles/scholarships-study-in-germany
Also I would advice you to talk to your parents about your interest in studying abroad as soon as possible so that they can do the necessary steps in order to help arrange fees for the both of you.
Good Luck with your future.
