So, even if you score a lower rank as compared to a normal male candidate when there is a high chance that might get admission into any of the IITs if we are qualified for JEE advanced examination.

• Other Backward Caste.
• Schedule Caste.
• Schedule Tribe.
• Minority communities.
• Home State Quota (Karnataka).

You need to submit the affidavit for single girl child while filling the application form for NEET. The option will be available, if you choose gender "Female" and you do not have any siblings(brothers/sisters).

Dear aspirant

First of all jammu kashmir doesn't participate in AIQ counseling of NEET. It is exempted from AIQ quota and 100% seat admission happens through state quota counselling who is having domicile.

So if you belong to other state then you can't take admission. Although you can apply for AIIMS jammu through AIQ counselling.

Lowest cut off rank for obc category through AIQ counselling was AIR 15038.

so at your expected marks it is tough for you to get govt mbbs colleges.

Do you qualify for EWS category? If yes then please avail the benefits. The cutoffs are quite different as compared to those of UR so chances of grabbing a seat are increased.

Also by the time ranks are announced, take this time to check out previous year cutoffs of various colleges as per your expected rank (predictor link attached at the end). You want to checkout the fee structure, peer group, faculty and academic record.

Further in MBBS there are various scholarships given to students who need (and deserve) them. For various categories too there are multiple scholarships and aids available. So as per your state and category, look into these as well.

There is no such quota for Single Girl child in NEET exam (as far as details are provided).

It is just mentioned but does not make any difference so far ( can't say if they make any change for it in future)
