Is it worth doing MBA PGDM in operations from GIM,KJ SOMAIYA,WELLINGKAR MUMBAI while having 3.5 years of work experience in production and manufacturing?
Hello Puneet,
Hope you are doing well.
Colleges like GIM, KJ Somaiya and Wellingkar Mumbai are very good for MBA/PGDM courses. With a good placement record and great infrastructure, they have been doing very well.
But, one must go for colleges of national importance like IIMs, XLRI, Symbiosis and IIFT after gaining a work experience of 3.5 years. With the work experience of 3.5 years, you have good chances of getting selected in these institutes. So, work little hard and try to make in these colleges.
All the best Puneet!
Thank-you
How tough it is to get admission into gim?
Hello,
Last year the CAT cutoff of GIM Goa was more than 85 percentile. The cutoff of GIM Goa aids in shortlisting candidates based on their scores. The Goa Institute of Management's cutoff percentile for 2020 session will be around 85 -95 percentile.

Is any program of GIM worth joining ?
Before you think of joining GIM, do take a look at the campus situation and the way they treat their students, even after taking lacs of rupees
Go through all the pictures attached in this link.
This is the current situation of a hostel in GIM where students are staying without water and electricity and not even able to get a good and sound sleep

If you have good grades in intermediate, then they will give you direct admission. If you're ready to afford money, you can get admission from management quota. The money should be paid beside the actual fee.
Otherwise, if you know some faculty in GITAM or any academic staff, they can guide you for admission.
