Sir i am getting 63.5 marks in JKCET exam 2024 (SC Category). Can i get civil branch in GCET Jammu.
Hello there,
With
63.5 marks
in
JKCET 2024
and belonging to the
SC category
, you have a good chance of getting the
Civil Engineering
branch at
GCET Jammu
(Government College of Engineering and Technology).
Factors to Consider:
-
SC category reservation
: Being in the SC category significantly improves your chances as the cutoffs for reserved categories are typically lower.
- Previous cutoffs : In past years, candidates with similar marks and category have been able to secure seats in branches like Civil Engineering .
Keep an eye on the
JKCET counseling process
and seat allocation rounds for confirmation.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Hello...Iyaz ..
Well you scored not so good but an average rank in jkcet entrance examination..
At this rank you can get admission in the colleges under jkcet entrance examination but your chances are not much high. You can get seat in some of the college in branch like civil, ece or more but in the college those who are at the lower rank in the college lists...
You may ask any queries regarding this in comment section...

Can a GCET rank of 585 get you into Goa College of Engineering?
If you have a rank of 585, wait till the third round can get into GEC for whatever branch may be available. For the CS branch, you have to secure under 100 ranks.

Is SIT, Pune worth the fee for B.Tech CSE? I have heard this college is mainly famous for its commerce programs. The tuition fee is 10,60,000 for 4 years. The deadline is near and one has to pay 1.50L to confirm the admission. Should I wait for Counselling like UPTU/IPU? Is GCET a good alternative?
Hello Aspirant,
You have heard right about the fees for BTech CSE .
Fees is around 140000 to 160000 approx .It is not only for commerce but also for B.Tech. Placements are around 80 to 85 percent every year so you will have to face less difficulties in aspect of placement.
Gcet is also a good option but you should go for SIT in case you are worried about placements and if you have some financial issues then Gcet would be cheaper for you.
sir/maam i got 414 rank in GCET will i get cse or it in gec?
Hello Aspirant,
To get CSE or IT candidate needs to score a good score and a good rank. To get CSE your rank should be under 200 then you surely get chance in CSE. And to get IT your rank should be under 300.
According to your rank it will be difficult for you to get CSE or IT branch. It is not the exact closing rank, you can get a rough idea from here. The information is based on previous year's data. Don't lose hope and go for all the rounds. Getting a seat will depend on many factors such as your category.
