I got admission into DEPSTAR charusat CSE in the first round and I am confused about upcoming rounds ,so if in the 2nd or 3rd round I get GCET(G H PATEL college of engineering and technology) CE ,so what should I choose then ?
Hi aspirant,
You asked for the comparison between DEPSTAR charusat cse vs GCET ce.
Look, GCET computer should be preferred. GCET computer has a good opportunity for freshers compared to changa. If you compare DDIT or BVM IT fields with GCET computer then also GCET computer must be preferred. Though it is GTU affiliated but it has many more committees to sharpen your coding skills.
All the best !!
Upsee 2020 counselling. I have been allotted some seat GCET,Which is in open(seat allocated category) .I belong to gen-ews category.in online document verification certificate they have mentioned my category gen-ews. So why have they allotted me open category seat?,will i not be get benefit of ews?
First of all congratulations on getting seat in GH PATEL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY.
Now, In upsee, The seat allotment is done on the basis of crl ranks not on the category ranks. For each category there are a certain percentage of seats reserved. Firstly the seats are given to general students on basis of their General ranks. After that the seats are allotted to reserved category students according to their CRL ranks for each category. After all the seats have been alloted by open category ranks then the reserved category seats are allotted.
So, that's why your ews category rank is not considered, and your were given the seat in basis of your CRL ranks.

i took admission for b.tech EE at gcet jammu 2019 . i attended classes for 2 monthes . i did not submit any exam form at gcet (¿ preparing for neet 2020) hence not attended exams at gcet(didnt cancel admission).what is my position at gcet jammu , how to attend classes at gcet and what should i do?
Even if you haven't appeared for any exam, if your name has been in the final admission list and you did attend classes for 2 months, you are still a student of the College. And because you haven't cancelled the admission yet, you are still their student. And if you want to cancel your admission, you need to reach out to the College administration.

i have 1700 rank in jkcet can i get a seat in gcet
Hello aspirant,
Congratulations for getting good rank in JKCET. According to last some years cut offs sorry to say but you have very less chances of getting admission into GCET. As this is the one of the most prestigious institution of Jammu & Kashmir so that the cut offs for this institution are generally very high.
According to last some years if you get rank less than 700 then and then only you have chances of getting admission in GCET. For getting more information about this institution you should go through the below link in which all the information about this college is given.

i am really confuse about taking admission in chemical branch, whether to take admission in SCET or GCET?
hello aspirants,
both the colleges are very good and have good academics , campus and infrastructure as well.
the colleges have good placement rates as well.
you can take admission in any one them but you should know that Gujarat is known as the chemical hub of India.
Hence the cutoff and demand for chemical engineering programme is generally high unlike other states.
hope that helps
