According to the infrastructures and placement record I think Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology is good for Diploma in Computer Science. This Institution is a well known institute for a long time. It is true that in some fact it requires a little bit of improvement. But overall it is well maintained and having a good facilities. There is no  doubt that you can choose it.

One of the worst college in BPUT (Now deemed university) . They will take students taken for granted . they will show the placement record but facts figures are far away from them . Apart from TCS and some software companies; no one will get joining letter . All the core campus placement are fake . I am the sufferer of that . i have got placement on SEW Infrastructure limited in 2012 but never got joining letter . its my suggestion to go to Bhubneswar colleges , atleast you will get the exposure for offcampuses , where as in GIET gunupur - you will be slave . I am from 2008-2012 Batch mechanical engineering batch

Godavari institute of engineering and technology could be a better option for you if you are planning to make your career in engineering line.

They have good administration and infrastructure.

Placements are quite good with good packages.

Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology, Rajahmundry is a better option for all the branches.

Placements are good. CSE and IT get Google, Microsoft, IBM, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, and many more multinational companies for campus placements. 65% is the minimum percentage to sit in the interview round. Many of the students get the job opportunities. There is a placement cell, which is very useful to the students. 

The college has many companies which deal with the core part that is the mechanical branch. Many mechanical engineering students are hired in very well known multinational companies like AutomotiveIndia, Cockfosters, Bibo, TCS, Infotech, Infosys, Wartsila, L&T, MIEL, TCS, AMW, Wipro, Krisam and many companies.

Other branches in this College are also focused and get good placements.

The teachers are very helpful and are well-qualified in every subject. The quality of the teachers is very high. They teach students in an intelligent way, and even the slow learners can understand the concepts clearly. The course curriculum is very useful to all the students.

Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology Rajahmundry is a better option.

The selection figure moderately will be around 150 students to 200 students on the whole. The companies visit the campus for IT and service firms are like TCS, Virtusa, Polaris and more. There were around 15,000 to 25,000 and more pool campus selections at other institutions of Chaitanya group, where GIET students are allowed to participate depending on qualifying criteria.

The college has many companies which deal  even with the core part of the mechanical branch. Well known multinational companies like AutomotiveIndia, Cockfosters, Bibo, TCS, Infotech, Infosys, Wartsila, L&T, MIEL, TCS, AMW, Wipro, Krisam and many companies visit for placement.

As per education and faculties, There are the best faculty and are very much interested in interacting with the students. There is the best environment for studying. The faculty in the college are highly qualified personalities; they are very much interested in teaching new things to students. They are always in contact with the students, and they are very much friendly. The curriculum provided is well maintained, and the curriculum they gave students is useful, and more knowledge can be gained.

Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology is an average option in terms of the college performance. However, since you are pursuing CSE, it wouldn't be disappointing. The college has tie-ups with few IT companies like TCS, HCL etc and such companies do hire many students from the college. Otherwise, if you study well CSE ideally lands you into good jobs!

If you need a genuine opinion, I would not suggest either of the colleges. You wouldn't be able to get a good placement to start with. There are plenty other colleges in Andhra Pradesh that are amazing. There are JNTUK, AU,SVU, Gayathri vidya parishad vizag, JNTU Ananthapur etc., These are like the best colleges in Andhra Pradesh and they have very high cutoffs.

After the first phase of Counselling one must report to the allotted college and submit the Allotment order. They will give you the final date for the payment. So relax. No need to worry about that. You can pay the fee within the stipulated time.your won't be cancelled.

When you get a seat allotted in the first round of the counseling, there is a deadline given to you before which you have to accept the admission in the college if you want to. If you fail to complete the admission in the given deadline your seat will be left vacant and passed to the next round of the counseling. Now, since you have not paid the fees in the college at the given time so your seat is vacant and you have to get the seat again in the next round.
