what is the GMAT as well as CAT cutoff for 1 year GSCM program in IIM Udaipur?
Hi Puneet!
There is no specific Cut Off for GMAT/CAT score for joining in IIM Udaipur. You must have a valid, decent score to make your way through. Anyway both GMAT/CAT scores are considered equal here! You can join on the basis of any one's score.
The validity for these exams are 5 years. You should have taken your exams preferably in 2018.
Eligibility to join:
- Minimum of 10 +2 in School Education, minimum of 3 years in any Undergraduate Programme.
- Valid GMAT/CAT/GRE score taken on or after 2018.
- Minimum full-time work experience of 36 months as of March 31, 2021.
Anyway, the candidate will be selected based on their Demographic Profile, Academic Profile, Work Experience, Score in GMAT/CAT/GRE and Personal Interview.
Hope this is helpful!
All the very best!
cat or GMAT are same or different
Hello student.
Hope you are doing well.
See CAT stands for common admission test . It is a national exam which is held all over the India. It is the largest exam for MBA.
Whereas GMAT stands for The graduate management admission test. It is a global exam which is held across the nations for MBA.
It is easier to score in GMAT in comparison to CAT. If a person studies with full focus and concentration he can easily achieve 700+ marks.

As such, there is no set eligibility criteria set by GMAC, the body conducting GMAT for appearing for the GMAT exam. However, one should always meet the eligibility criteria set by the university/college one aspires to get into after giving the GMAT.
Age criteria
The candidate must have completed 18 years of age
There is no upper age limit for the candidate
If the candidate is between 13 to 17 years old, they should have permission in writing from their parents or legal guardian
Educational qualification
GMAC has not announced any official statement regarding qualification required to appear for GMAT
Candidates who wish to enroll in an MBA program should possess a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university
The GMAT exam is designed to be attempted in English; hence basic understanding and fluency in the language is a must for the aspirants. In order to clear the exam, one must have the skills to comprehend the twisted and confusing questions asked in the exam. The exam is tough and complicated; henceforth, its aspirants must have excellent command over the English language.
Other Restrictions: According to the GMAC, any individual irrespective of their gender, age, nationality, religion, academic background, etc. can appear for the exam without any discrimination. This includes differently-abled candidates as well, who are provided with special exam accommodation upon request. For such aspirants, the medical documents that define a candidate’s disability are put confidential, which has been thoroughly described in the privacy statement declared by the GMAC.

will my 10th,12th marks matter for takingmba from foreign taking that i have good score in gmat
Hello Aspirant,
It may not matter much as before 10th ,12th marks ,your undergraduate degree comes and some kind of work experience you had probably done before joining MBA . It may sometimes depends on the specific college and their norms. Do check the specific college criterias you are applying for before registration.
Hope it helps.
i have a 9 cgpa(mech) from a reputed college and i am preparing to score my max in gmat but my board marks are low with 68% and math marks is 47.i cannot afford the fees but for very few i can, will taking mba from any reputed foreign unv and scholar ships related to it be affected due to board marks
Hi,
Well any university abroad tries to select the students who are among the best according to their set guidelines and brings something to their department. Their application review process is very holistic and they try to see everything from academics to non academic to recommendations to test scores to your personal statement. If one part is weak then you need to make the other parts of your application as strong as possible to compensate for the lower part. As long as your application is great overall with a bit of up and downs, you will be able to get in.
I hope my answer helps.
All the best.
what is the eligibility critwria for gre/gmat/gate. (in the sense of class 12 marks) and will gate scores be considered in foreign universities
Talking with reference to Class 12th Marks, there's no such criteria in GRE/GMAT exams. All you'll need is a valid GRE/GMAT score that'll help you get a better college/University in foreign. But if you'll talk of GATE,since it's an Engineering Aptitude test,it's score is valid in every Indian Institutes & a selected lists of foreign universities also considers admission based on your GATE score, which include National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore and Technical University of Munich and RWTH Aachen in Germany.
im in 1st year bba . how can i start my prepartion for cat and gmat togethen ?? when should i start , how should i aproach, and most importantly how do prepare for both at the same time ?? what should i do and dont
hi,
see to prepare a competitive exam you must be really dedicated and must have a decent routine to maintain your work. however besides your bachelors course and college curriculum you may only invested 3-4 hours a day to prepare for exams like CAT, mat cmat etc. however the syllabus for each of the exams is quite similar to the syllabus but I would suggest you to focus on CAT, since cat score is accepted in most of the Indian Institute. first of all go through the sample syllabus and some of the previous years papers. questions makes from english, logical and quantitative aptitude, reasoning. so you have to prepare the all the sections since sectional cutoff is required for college admission. so from now on dont make tension and try to relax and focus on your studies. another main thing is you have to practice mock questions. now a days various online platform available where you may purchase and give free test.
hope it would help.
Hi I have 580 gmat I want to do mba in england I have 1 year work experience what are the basic documents required, can u suggest college for mba in england for 580 gmat
Hi,
Well your gamt score is pretty low considering the fact that you want to study in England. I would suggest you to improve your marks before applying. You can go for Cambridge University or Imperial College London or Oxford University. These are among the top ones offering business and related courses. You can directly visit their website and can check out the admission requirements and guidelines.
I hope this answer helps.
All the best.
Can I get in to mba colleges in England with gmat 580 to 600 with 0 to 1 year experience I have heard that there are collage who take forigin students with work experience
Hi,
There are business colleges in UK that accept the above GMAT score. Some of them are
Ashridge Business School
LUMS
University of Manchester -Alliance Manchester Business School
Imperial College, London
Warwick Business College and so on.
These are some of the colleges. The details of the college is available at the official websites of the respective college. Top colleges requires more than 600+marks in GMAT (this is only one of the eligibilities required). Also most of the UK universities ask for 2-3 year work experience. If you have any specific college in your mind, go to the official website of the institute and check the guidelines of admissions. All the best.
