Greetings,

It would be good if you had mentioned your scores ,it would have been easier to find colleges according to that and then guide you about scholarship programme .But as you have not I am suggesting the procedure as well as various other programmes available in top B- Schools

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT,LUCKNOW
INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT,RAIPUR

The students get the scholarship based on criteria fixed by different organisations which will fund your scholarship. Mostly the companies funding will see your GMAT ,10th ,12th and graduation scores if you want scholarship for funding before admission .
They will also look into various awards or curricular activities in which you have participated . For scholarship might before admission you need to talk to the administration board and for that write an email to the institution mentioning your capibilities ( you can get there mail id from internet ) . Also mention your incapability to pay such high fee so that you can get some concession .
You can also make a call to the administration department. The simple procedure you will have to follow would be your identity card and all the score sheets mentioned above, your father's income details etc which will vary from colleges to colleges . There are loans facilities also at a very low rate .
Some IIM provides scholarship to only 20 top scorer students from the campus . But if you think that the college will not be satisfied with your scores and will not grant you scholarship based on that then the college also fund/scholarship based on their performance in first year and so forth so you should work efficiently in your college years to avail the benefit .
Some scholarships are also been awarded for the students in specific subjects so you need to work hard and try to top in those subject only . There are many scholarships in these colleges where the benefit could be availed by giving competition exam or interview conducted ( OP.JINDAL SCHOLARSHIP is one such example) .
Being a student of any of these IIM 's you are eligible for scholarship which are not provided by college also . There is also fellowship programme where have to pay less fee than prescribed . You can also apply in National Scholarship Portal which is a governmental website which will find scholarship for you with all the mentioned details .
There are various colleges abroad also which take students based on GMAT scores. The eligibility for any scholarship based programme will always be the same YOUR CAPABILITIES . For foreign colleges you can apply for scholarship in Indian companies as well as the scholarship provided by those colleges .
You need to write mail, call up the administration board , you can apply for loan if you get into any of these universities or abroad based universities then the bank will surely provide you loan on lower interest beacause these universities carry a standard with them . You can apply for student loan which will be cheaper.
If you are planning on studying aboard you can also do part time jobs which will help you cover up many costs of your university .
XAVIER SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT , JAMSHEDPUR

How can I get GMAT fee waiver and what are the best MBA colleges abroad which dont require job experience?
Hey,
GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council) is the owner of GMAT exam and directs the GMAT fee waiver. You need to fill the GMAT fee waiver form. The applicant might request and get the approval for upto 10 waivers within a period of 12 months. These vouchers waive the GMAT exam fee for the applicant. However, GMAC does not provide fee waivers directly to students, the school act as an mediator to district fee waivers and hence you need to work directly with the school. GMAC provides the fee waivers code to the applicant via a secured email. These fee waivers are usually offered to economically disadvantaged students, but however, it's upto each individual school to decide who gets a fee waiver.
The schools offer fee waivers firstly, to their currently enrolled students or alumni. Secondly, they offer to the applicants to their various business programmes. If you have any further related query, do visit the pathfinder below;
https://www.gmac.com/frequently-asked-questions/fee-waivers
I don't want to discourage you, but it seems like you are thinking of getting into business school to get over your studies once and for all, and let me tell you this is not a good idea. Average work experience of 3 to 5 years is the requirement of the top international programmes.
Nevertheless, you can get yourself enrolled into a Master of Science in Management programme, many top schools such as HEC Paris & University of St. Gallan ( as Master of Arts in Strategic and International Management ) offer these degrees for students with business undergraduate background, which are similar to MBA but do not really require any Job Experience.
As these programmes are pre-experience, more stronger in conceptual study than (1 year) MBA offered by same school.
I hope I've resolved your query, in case of any further doubt, feel free to revert back.
All the very best, have a bright future ahead!!
If on first attempt GMAT exam is not cleared then for attempting again I have to fill the application form again and submit the fee
Hi Raja.
Greetings.
Yes, you have to fill the form again and submit the fees again. You can only take the test once every 16 calender days.If you attempt to take the test before that time period has elapsed, your new scores will not be reported and you lose you test administration fee.
All the Best.
Procedure of studying mba(finance) in foreign
Hello Vinash,
First of all, are you asking about 2018 CAT? If yes, maximum of the colleges have closed their registration forms and you won't be to apply for most of them. Still, if you are interested to know about it, use the Pathfinder at Careers 360 website. Follow the link: https://bschool.careers360.com/pathfinder/cat
Now coming to the reality part, you won't be getting any "good" college with your percentile. There are some good B-schools in India that are well known for their finance domain. And they do not accept any marks less than 95 percentile. So, even if you are getting a college that would be below average for sure.
Let's come to the GMAT part. You need to score above 710 to get very good colleges. Irrespective of whichever country you want to study, you need to appear for GMAT. Having said that, you can also score above 630 and you would find good colleges. You need to apply to these institutes after getting your GMAT score. You will have the option of choosing up to 5 colleges immediately after you finish your exam and your scores will be sent to them. You need not pay for it because that would be covered in your GMAT registration fees. Apart from that, you have to apply to other colleges for which you need to pay.
Needless to say, it will be a costly affair. If you are ready to invest in it, please go forward. If not, kindly prepare for CAT 2019 and along with that do appear for XAT, IIFT, TISSNET, SNAP, NMAT, CMAT and MAHCET. The colleges accepting the scores of these exams are equally good. Please don't bother yourself with MAT again as most of the good colleges do not accept MAT score.
Hope this helps. All the best!

My GMAT SCORE IS 720. guide me what is the procedure to get admission in MBA in MH CET .I have not filled form for CET.HOW TO JOIN CAP ROUN
Hi Shruti,
First of all, congratulations on your GMAT score of 720. I suppose your question pertains to joining the CAP round using your GMAT score as you haven't filled up the MAH CET form. You have to fill up a form of DTE CAP 2019 for that. The registration will begin in May 2019. You have to fill up the online application form, after which you will be called for their GDPI round and further process.
Your GMAT score will be used for the allotment of seats in Provisional allotment of CAP round I, II and III.
Kindly note - If you are aiming for the top B-schools in Maharashtra then you might be asked to register for their CAP round around 15 May. So please keep a check on that.
Let me know if you need further clarifications.
can anyone please suggest the best way for the preparation and also please suggest books for the preparation.
Can you suggest best book
When will GMAT conduct its exams? Can I write more than one time without paying fee for the second time?
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a computer-adaptive test which assesses a person’s analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal and reading skills in standard written English.
There is no specific date. Exams are conducted almost every day depending on the availibility of test centers and timings. You need to visit the official GMAT website and choose a test center convenient to you and check out the dates available there.
No, you cannot write the exam second time by paying the application fee only once. Everytime you register for the exam you have to pay the full application fee again.
The application fee for GMAT 2018 is $250, which would roughly translate to Rs 15,000-16,000 approximately. Also, if the applicants want to change the center or reschedule the test then they will be charged $50 extra
Does IIM-A accept gmat scores for MBA?
This depends on your nationality.
For Indian Citizens, the only way to get into IIM-A is through CAT.
If you are a resident of a foreign country, then through your GMAT score, you can take admission in the IIM's.
Hope this helps.
