A person with a undergraduate degree is preferred more in this field. There are certain colleges with this game development as a degree itself. You can pursue this by completing B.Sc in graphics, animation and gaming, B.Tech/B.E in computer Science and game development. Similarly there are many such courses (do browse about that). You will need the knowledge of coding for pursuing with game designing. These graphic design and game developing are a professional course in certain colleges like VIT (Vellore Institute of technology). SRM, etc.
