.
If not you can get a recommendation from any of the staff worker who's working for your job.
my height is 4.7 can I work as a ground staff in international airport and I also wear specs
Tanpreet, there are no strict rules regarding requirements for Ground Staff per se. To become a ground staff you should have completed your 12th or Diploma or PG Diploma in any discipline and should be between 18-27 years old. What they look out for in Ground staff is that the Candidate is friendly, able to handle people and their belongings, possess good health, energy and stamina. Ground staff work for longer and irregular hours as they are responsible for every passenger once he/she lands. You should be familiar with more than one domestic language. Diplomatic Abilities, flexibility in attitude, good communication and organising skills are mandatory. If you have these in you, your height and spectacles do not come in the way. If you have completed your 12th and want to try to become a Ground Staff, try for Certificate Diploma courses like Certified Professional in Ground Staff Service Course or Diploma in Airport Ground Staff Training. Once you complete the course and get the certification done, there are many airlines that hire Ground Staff. That way you can get hired easily because you have the required educational qualification as well.
Do airlines visit the institutes for interview for ground staff
Mostly, the airlines outsource this job, which means that they engage ground handling agencies authorized by airport authorities. Actually, it is not economical for the airlines to do the recruiting on their own and make them their own staff because there are many expenses to be borne with in this way such as free food, free transport, concessional or free passes to employee family. So what they do is that they entrust the job to a private company and it take all the intermediary process and expenses out.
is it good to join some institute for ground staff training before applying for job..

Which department is more well paying: cabin crew or ground staff?
Hey muskan
Your role in the aviation industry is fairly similar as it focuses on customer service whether it on board service or ground services.cabin crew has to re-locate, shuffle between places and it is a job which requires more hard work as compared to ground staff.the are some factors that cause the cabin crew to get a higher pay on a wider level as compared to the ground staff i.e.
-They are required to relocate
-Irregular work timings
-More risk due to crashes, hijacks etc
- constant personality checks(physical)
-Constant training procedure & regulatory exams etc
Cabin crew salary in JET airways can range from 16,830 - 68,513 whereas The average salary for a Ground Staff is 19,279 per month in Delhi.
Hope it helps.
