i completed my 12th board in gseb now my Goel is get admission in mba(iim) what should i do. i select stream of b.voc can i do mba after it? if yes than get me schedule of preparing.
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well!
To answer your query, YES, you can do MBA after B.Voc. For doing an MBA you only need a bachelors degree.
To answer your next query, well, in order to prepare for the IIMs, you need to be prepared for giving your Cat exams first. CAT is nothing but the Common Admission Test to help you qualify for the IIMs and many other prestigious B-schools in India.
However, the competition is really getting tough these days for the CATs and therefore, getting admitted to any IIM or other institute has really become a tough job for every aspirant.
You need tremendous preparations and hard working capability to get admitted to one these institutes, and first and foremost, clear your CATs as well.
Now, other thing I would like to mention here is that you need to know what you are going to face in the CAT exams.
Well, you should certainly go for a detailed syllabus check that would enable you to understand what the CAT exam consists of.
For a start, CAT consists of 3 sections for which you have to prepare equally well.
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
- Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation
The exam for each section is of an hour. And in total the exam therefore, is of 3 hours.
You need to prepare on a daily basis and allocate a timetable for each section and follow it rigorously.
A good timetable will surely help you make the most of your time and also help you complete your syllabus on time.
Also, you need to practice your skills on a regular basis.
And better solve at least one practice paper, or previous year’s CAT paper once every week.
This would help you gauge your knowledge and how much you need to prepare more with every attempt.
Now, when it comes to the study material, I’m sure everybody would suggest you the Arun Sharma, R.S Agarwal books.

i am general from gseb board and my percentage pcb both theory and practical consider then 48 percentage come out so i am eligible for neet can i attempt the neet exams first time.,?
Hi
No, you are not eligible for NEET examination.
This is because,
Being a general category student you need 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( Theory + practical) but you have only 48 % and thus not eligible .
For your reference,
Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET :-
-------------------) Qualification required :-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible one must be either appearing for 12th board examination or should have passed 12th board examination from any recognised board with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.
†††Important Note :- Students with Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement over it.
-------------------) Percentage required :- You must get
-
at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( theory+ practical) i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
-
at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc
-
at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.
-------------------) Age limit :-
-
Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .
-
Upper age limit :-There's no upper age limit for NEET. Earlier there was upper age limit of 25 years which was pending in supreme court, on 9th march 2022 NMC in its notice has removed upper age limit. In Gseb board 100 marks theory and 50 marks practical in PCB.Neet eligible criteria 50% is counting out of 150 or out of 100????2022
Hello aspirant,
The final result of class 12th includes both the theory as well as practical marks out which is given out of 100, in all the subjects including PCB (physics, Chemistry and Biology). So, the NEET Eligibility criteria which says that the 50% minimum marks is required to be eligible for NEET UG 2022 exam - it means that you must score 50% in aggregate marks in PCB all together (physics, Chemistry and Biology). So, 50% eligibility criteria is the aggregate marks in PCB, not the individual marks.
Further, to know more about the NEET Eligibility criteria, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it in detail : https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria
I hope that this will help.
I have scored 60% in class 12 (GSEB BOARD).. now i know that i can give JEE MAINS AND ADVANCE but the confusion is that can i get admission in NIT or IIT (after clearing JEE) OR NIT will need 75% ?? Means does the 75% Creteria also removed for NIT and IIT this year(2022) ?? Pls Help me Out!!
Hello aspirant,
YES, you can give JEE mains , since you are eligible for it, because the NTA has removed the 75% Eligibility criteria in JEE mains 2022. So, you only have to pass your class 12th with minimum passing marks in all the subjects, then also you'll be eligible for JEE mains. Recently the National Testing Agency released a notification about JEE Main 2022 on their official website. As per the latest notification, the NTA has removed 75% marks criteria from the minimum eligibility percentage norms.
According to the official notice of JEE Mains and JEE Advanced 2022, there is no 75% barrier for admission to NIT and IIIT for session 2021 to 2022 . You only need to pass at least Class 12.
Further, to know more about the JEE mains Eligibility criteria 2022, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it in detail : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-eligibility-criteria#:~:text=Any%20student%20who%20has%20passed,apply%20for%20the%20entrance%20exam.&text=Students%20can%20appear%20in%20the%20JEE%20Main%20exam%20for%20three%20consecutive%20years.
I hope that this will help
I have got 70% in Gseb and 41.50 marks in gujcet which college n course is suitable for me
hello aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned your category, so I am considering you as a GENERAL Category student. Looking at the previous year GUJCET Cutoff, you must need to score at least a minimum marks of around 120+ out of 200 to get Best and good Government based colleges through GUJCET.
Gujarat rank will be composed of 60% weightage on marks obtained in 10+2 standard qualifying examinations and 40% weightage on marks obtained in GUJCET.
Further, the above prediction is based on the previous year GUJCET Cutoff which vary every year and the GUJCET Cutoff is based on various factors like : Difficulty level of the paper, previous year Cutoff trends, Number of aspirants appearing, etc.
Further, to know more about the previous year GUJCET Cutoff you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gujcet-cutoff
I hope that this will help.
