I would say that VBIT is a better college than ggu Bilaspur as the facilities available there are a lot better than that in ggu and the college has a great academic environment and the teachers are experienced. The placements vary each year but they are definitely getting better. The average salary offered is 3-4 LPA.

At this high rank it is very difficult to get both the colleges you have mentioned moreover any other college with a considerably good branch looks improbable but yes you should sit in the counselling and fill in the choices and wait if you can get any decent college or not but looking at past years rends it is tough to get any good  college at this rank.

GGU Bilaspur is a central Government university. The university is UGC approved. The university provides admission to the course of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering through JEE Main score. There are 60 seats for the course and the total fees is around Rs. 1.1Lacs.

The IT course will be better in Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya as compared to the mechanical branch. The placement is not good in mechanical but is average in IT branch. The highest salary offered to IT Branch is nearly INR 10LPA and the average salary offered is nearly INR 4.5LPA.

Dear candidate if you make a thorough analysis onto the Placement trends of past few years of GGU Institute, Bilaspur, firstly you need to focus a lot on your studies, give too much effort and placement rate is very poor here!! You will be quite disappointed with their placements. Only few companies visit the campus every year, around 8-10 students are placed, median offered salary package is around 2-3 LPA.

In my opinion you should go for Pondicherry Engineering College.

Pondicherry Engineering College :-

Placements: Almost 90% of the students from cse course got placed. The highest salary offered is 3 lacs per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 80,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like TCS and Amazon visit campus for placements. A top role offered to the students is an entrepreneur. The highest salary package offered in course is 50 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. About 50% of the students from cs course got an internship in companies like TCS.

Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is the best, and lab facilities are super. The college has the biggest library in Pondicherry. In the library, you can collect more books. Classrooms are super. The hostel has good infrastructure, and it has a well-defined structure. It is clean. The canteen is good, and the mess is also good.
