Both Tezpur University (TU), Tezpur  and Gauhati University (GU), Guwahati the B.E/B.Tech admissions are based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains score. As of now out of four sessions only two sessions of JEE mains are conducted there are still two more sessions left and due to the ongoing pandemic the two sessions are postponed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet declared the new dates for JEE main. Unless all the sessions are conducted and the results are declared the admission process in Tezpur University (TU), Tezpur  and Gauhati University (GU), Guwahati will not start. Keep an eye on the official website of the colleges for the latest information.

Seriously speaking in this rank there is very slight chances according to previous year opening and closing ranks for CSE in Guwahati University. And I just want you to say that don't lose your hope, stick to the counselling till last round maybe your faith is waiting at last round of counselling.

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, choice of stream in engineering, students category etc. however you have to get more the cutoff score declared by the university to get admission. however at this score you have less chances in selection if you belongs to general category.

Admission to Gauhati University to study M.Tech is through their Entrance examination. However, Candidates with valid GATE score can get direct admission. The official website doesn't mention any schedule for its entrance examination for admission to various courses. They might release the online registration forms tentatively in this month.
