how much does a neurosurgeon studied from aiims delhi (which is a ug program) and passes out from harvard med school earn if he comes to india at age of 40
Hi Ishaan barghava,
As everybody knows AIIMS Delhi is the best medical institute of the country so doing MBBS there is a great achievement and doing graduation from Harvard is
really something extraordinary. I will provide you a general idea about salary of neurosurgeons here so read the full article carefully.
Salary of Neurosurgeons depends upon the sector of work (private/govt), experience and city of practice. During residency they are paid stipend which varies from 70k to 1.05L depending upon different state. After the completion of their residency they can either opt of private practice or join govt. In govt jobs they are given fixed salaries which range around 1.8 to 3.4L per month depending upon their post. If they opt for private practice the initial earnings are around 4L per month. After settling down most of them are earning around 6–10L. Some of them even cross 10–15L, these informations are about private practice (apart from corporate hospitals). The neurosurgeons in corporate hospitals start earning around 4L initially as Associate Consultant and after being promoted to Consultant and Senior Consultant they can even earn more than 15L per month……the peak salary has no limit, it is in crores.
I am neither a neurosurgeon, nor a doctor, I am only a medical aspirant who is highly interested in medical careers and read lots of articles about medical profession and education whenever I get some time after my studies, it gives me motivation to study more and more to become one of the leading doctor some day.
I hope it helps.

I am a PCB student currently studying in 11th grade. I want to know the procedures to get into Universities of UK. Also what all eligibility and procedures to get into Cambridge , Harvard and Oxford ?
Hello aspirant,
I assume that as you are a PCB student, you want to study medical in UK colleges. So, the most basic and important thing to secure admission in any UK college is the IELTS exam which you would need to clear and excel in it. Next, for medical fields, you need to clear the Bio Medical Admissions Test (BMAT) and UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT). You must take the BMAT in the year that you are applying as BMAT scores are valid only for one year. The test is held in the first week of November, so you should register in advance.
There are certain documents required for the admission process later as follows:
- Attested copies of academic transcripts / mark sheets of class X and XII or any other diploma
- Academic letter from your professors, who have taught you most recently
- If you have work experience, then Letter of Recommendation(LOR) from your employer, who can comment on your professional abilities
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Academic Resume/CV
- Photocopied score reports of IELTS/UKCAT/BMAT
- Proof of Funds / Financial Documents
Also, for the application, you can apply from the common entrance portal Universities and Colleges Admissions Services (UCAS) portal
I hope this helps, All the Best!
is it make any difference .. that I am going with scholership in Harvard (100%) or without scholership.. ?
Hi
With scholarship and without scholarship there is a huge difference. With 100% scholarship your whole educational expenses will be taken care of. Without scholarship you will have to shell out your own money which will increase your expenses multifold as there will be accommodation expenses and daily expenses as well.
Hope this is clear!
Is AIIMS MBBS and Harvard MBBS same? Can I work as a doctor in India after completing MBBS in Harvard?
Hi young aspirant,
Surely AIIMS MBBS and Harvard MBBS are not the same. Harvard is amongst the best medical colleges all over the world so there ought to be major differences in their syllabi as well as their teaching practices.
Another thing to consider is that in the United States, you must first complete a Premed degree before applying to medical school. So that'll be 4+4 years following your 12th grade. In India, you'll start med school right after high school, where you'll spend 5.5 years.
As for your second question, t he issue with the medical industry is that it is difficult to move places, let alone nations. I'm not saying you can't return to India after living in the United States, but it would be difficult. So, pick where you wish to focus your work.
Hope that helps
Do IAS and IFS (foreign) officers who intend to do an MBA from the Harvard or Stanford require to take GMAT?
Depends across Courses at Foreign Universities. Usually 1 Year Executive Programs, might not necessarily require a GMAT Score, provided you have a strong profile, backed by a strong work experience in Government of India. However, it again varies with Universities. GMAT is compulsary you may have to produce the score with the Application. Incase youre targeting a Full Time Program, you might necessarily require GMAT Score.
Do students who have studied in aimms have higher probability of going to Harvard?
Hello,
No, the students who have studied in aimms or any other "famous" college because which college you study in does not matter. The only thing that matters is your grades, extra-curriculars, SOPs, Letter of recommendations, essays(if required during admission), and other transcripts.
The admission authorities of Harvard or any college abroad do not look at the college you have passed out from, they only look at your application form, your achievements, why you want to study at XYZ college, and what makes you worthy enough to study there.
In conclusion, the college does not matter, so work on your profile, study hard and you should be fine.
All the best!
Harvard architecture in computer organisation
In a normal computer that follows von Neumann architecture, instructions and data both are stored in same memory. So same buses are used to fetch instructions and data. This means CPU cannot do both things together (read a instruction and read/write data).Harward Architecture is the computer architecture that contains separate storage and separate buses (signal path) for instruction and data. It was basically developed to overcome the bottleneck of Von Neumann Architecture. The main advantage of having separate buses for instruction and data is that CPU can access instructions and read/write data at the same time.

Dear Aspirant,
