I want to become a government high school teacher....then which is best bsc general or bsc honours??
Go for BSc Hons in your preferred subject, that will give you more in depth knowledge about the subject, and you can further pursue master's degree also, if you are looking at recruitment in government schools then appear for exams such as CTET or state level SETs pursuing BEd is compulsory, and as I said if you pursue master's degree you can become Post Graduate Teacher which offers a good payscale too, and you can also consider appearing for CSIR NET or state level SETs for lectuership.
Is teaching good career for boys?? I want to become a high school teacher... i will be having a well settled life or not ??
Hello Mukesh,
It is one of the best careers option if you are really interested in this and also in benefiting students.
If we look at it as a career point of view, it pays you enough and it have no limitations and you do not think about your well-settlement if you excel in it.
If we talk about the way to become to High School teacher then you have first have to some course like B.Ed and then to be high school teacher you might have to teach in middle school too firstly and after experience you will be promoted to high school.
Being High school teach can you pay you sufficient to live but if you want to earn some extra then you can teach students in your institute or coaching.
Now having said I will talk about some cons of it and way to avoid it.
Because of spread of internet and increase in reliance on online things, people are heavily shifting towards online, and in future it will keep increasing so if you are starting then you must keep in mind that if you are doing offline then you might get the same large numbers of students as because of availability of things on Internet they have lot of options.
Rest it is evergreen career option and respected one.
I hope this information helps you.

I want to become a high school teacher.I am pursuing B.com.If I do B.Ed, Shall I be able to get the job?
You'll be eligibility for CTET as well as state level Teacher Eligibility Test, but if you complete your MCom, you can teach till 12th standard, for instance if you want to try for PGT Commerce in KVS then along with BEd MCom is required, so it's better you pursue both BEe as well as MCom for better prospects, and if you want to teach at university level, BEd isn't required, you need to qualify UGC NET or SET conducted at state level to become Assistant Professor.
