Hello,
M.Sc in home science nutrition and dietetics is a two year postgraduate level degree programme offered by many universities.
The eligibility criteria says " the candidate must secure at least 50 percent aggregate in graduation in relevant discipline from a recognized university ". So, since you studied nutrition and physiotherapy, it is kind of relevant to the same.
The average fees for this programme is 20,000 to 4,00,000 INR, depending on the colleges.
The average package after this masters degree is between 2 to 12 lakhs per annum.
Thankyou!

i want to take admission in du sol. i have physical education and home science in my main subject are they both consider as vocational subject or main?
Hello Aspirant,
To calculate the total aggregate cutoff, you should include your best four subjects. And the best four should include one language (core/elective), 1 subject relevant to the course your are opting for and then remaining two best subjects. The last two subjects should be from List A to avoid any reduction in total percentage. If these subjects are not in the list then they are not considered as main subjects and you will have to reduce 2.5 percentage. Hence, yes you can take but check with the List A subjects and choose. Please refer the below article to know more on how to calculate best four.

what is the difference between course bsc food science and quality control (self finance) and bsc food science and quality control (home science). please tell
Dear Kusum ,
Food Science and Quality Control is the study of all the technical aspects of food. Food science combines principles from disciplines like microbiology, biochemistry and chemical engineering. Subjects usually studied under this degree are Nutrition and Food Commodities, Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Sanitation & Hygiene, Preparation & Packaging Materials, Food Analysis Adulteration & testing, Food Toxicology, etc.
Whats the major difference between self finance and Home science !
Self Financing courses are courses for which Government or UGC financial aid is not provided and student has to bear the cost of study and mostly working students do this course and meet the expenses of study themselves. Self financing courses cost more than the regular courses but the curriculum remain the same .Only this is the major difference between this course and all everything's are similar .
Hope it will helpful
Thanks
