mba ya mba hospital management better
Hi,
In my opinion, MBA/PGDM in Healthcare Management is a better choice.
MBA in healthcare management is better option as you have more options while selecting your domain that you would want to work in, whereas hospital administration is restricted only to hospital jobs
The academic curriculm are more or less same, but Healthcare management has more coverage and wider acceptance in India as it is an older course. I would suggest that you choose a PGDM course in Healthcare management, preferably from an AICTE approved/ accredited college which will also get you lot of grooming programs and good placement opportunities, but not charge you very high fees. Difficult combination, but you may still get a few. They usually do not advertise much as they anyway get the students because of the value they deliver. A few such colleges, offering good course (AICTE accredited) and placements and most importantly, good ROI are: Ashoka School of Business/ ASB Hyderabad, GIBS Bangalore, IISWBM Kolkata, Amity Noida, ITM Mumbai, etc. Among them ASB Hyderabad is one of the best in terms of ROI.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
