Sorry to say but you have not elaborated your question properly. There is no college name as well as the city name you want to be admitted in. Every college and university has different facilities plus it depends on where your institution is located. So if your rooms are air conditioned or fully furnished you will charged more. And if they are normal ones with no furnishings or conditioning then the fee would be less.

Second factor is that if your college is nearby a residential area, market or school your fees will be more. So please name the college to be able to help you more properly.

E.K.N.M Government College Elerithattu has a separate Ladies Hostel which is provided with all the necessary amenities for female students. It has been in operatio since 2018-19 Academic year and has been constructed with financial assistance from UGC. There are total 9 rooms in the ladies hostel which include Hostel Office room, Resident Tutor's room and rest room. 6 rooms are available for hostel admission and selection is based on merit. Hostel fees per month ranges around Rs 2000-3000 per month

Hope you are doing good.

What you heard about hostel facilities is kinda correct . I'm saying this because not all colleges provide hostel facilities to their students from the very first year, although many colleges provide hostel from the 1st year of your course.

But , some colleges for example Aliah University of kolkata, doesn't provide you hostel facilities from the first year. You have to secure atleast 8.5+ sgpa in the first semester/year to secure a hostel room provided that you live at a long distance.
