Hello Aspirant,
Applicants under stream 1 will be admitted to 70% of the seats based on JEE (Main) 2020 scores and normalized 10+2 marks. The weightage for JEE Main scores and 10+2 marks will be 25% & 75% respectively. The aggregate JEE Main score and normalized 10+2 aggregate will be taken together as per the weightage and applicants will be ranked based on the resultant combined score.
The combined score of all students will be used to determine the SASTRA Rank and admission will be based on the SASTRA Rank secured.
Hope I solve your query.
All the best!!!
Dear Vaishnavi
I have personally spoken to the college authority in this matter. The admissions have not yet started for the current session. However, the college is planning to start the round of admissions tentatively in the month of August.
As far as your score is concerned, admission in the college will only be confirmed once the cutoff is out.
The notifications would be released soon on the official website: https://mpkv.ac.in/Student/AdmissionProcedure
Hello,
In 2019 the lowest cut off for FYB.Com (//FYB.Com) to get admission in Mithibai College was 78.15% and the highest cut off was 97.2% in round 1. Considering this you may not get seat in this college. However, cut off is subjected to change. It may increase or decrease slightly depending on number of candidates applied, number of seats available, top score and other such factors.
Actually HSC marks or the grand total of PCB or PMB is not enough for any engineering entrance. Many colleges offer many entrance examination but most of the state colleges preferred JEE MAIN ranks. Mahatma Gandhi mission of jawharlal nehru college offers UPSEE rank. This year upsee is not conduct this year yet. Till when this covid 19 outbreak is not normalized then it is not possible to say anything about the exam dates.

Hope for the best.
Thank you.
hello,
for previous year, cutoff for science stream was 83.8%. usually percentage cutoff was 88% for science stream. for arts and commerce, it will be 84-87%. for last few years, Arts and commerce stream became demanding so percentage bar is increased as compared to science stream.
so if there is 2nd merit list then you will get selected for sure. There is high chance for it. so you should wait and look for results with positive mind and thoughts.
don't think too much. you will surely get admission with your qualification. for any query clear it out from institute helpdesk @ http://www.mithibai.ac.in/
Hope it helps!
