I have score 64.59 in ibs selection process so I got Admission in IBS ahmedabad but I want Admissiom
Hello Harsh,
I am afraid you might have missed IBS Mumbai by about 0.41 marks or so. IBS Mumbai generally accepts students with 65 or above. This is common. I too have missed colleges by such point difference. This is why you were given Ahmedabad instead of Mumbai through IBSAT.
Hope this helps.
Can i get any better colleges then IBS Mumbai with my CET percentile 80.81 ???
Hello Yahya,
Most of the other top colleges in business management have a higher cut off that the percentile you mentioned (based on 2018 trends). Since you did not mention a specific college I cannot give you a more specific answer. But most of the top colleges that accept students through CET have a higher cut off than you mentioned. However, there are a few other colleges you can apply to other than IBS Mumbai. Colleges that will accept your percentile include :
1. XIMR, mumbai
2. Vivekananda Education Society's Institute of Management studies and Research
3. Don Bosco Institute of Technology
4. Maharashtra Institute of Technology
And also quite a few more.
You can check out expected 2019 cut offs and earlier year cut offs (2017) of various colleges here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/bschool.careers360.com/articles/mah-cet-cutoff/amp
Is IBS Mumbai a good college? What is its rank in Mumbai?
Hi Aman,
IBS Mumbai is a really good college in terms of ROI, faculty. I would suggest if you if you are selected in the college do go for it. Average package is approx 6.5 lakhs.
College offers PGPM in Finance, Marketing, Operation and Human Resource and additially If you want to do MBA then you have to give some extra exams to get a MBA degree with PGPM.
Wish you all the best.
How is IBS Mumbai and Pune for PGDM Finance ??
Hi!
IBS Mumbai is more like a College rather than B-school.
Plus points-
1) Updated course- you get to learn new things as it is private institute and not government where syllabus is almost never up updated
2) Best faculty's- Professional faculty's with expertise in specific areas, experienced faculty's (20+ years) in industry. Huge take aways from their lectures, seminar and interactions.
3) Decent placements
Good Luck!
i should take addmission either in NDIM OR IBS PLSE SUGGEST ME OR ITS GOOD TO GO MUNJAL
Hey Abhi,
New Delhi Institute of Management is clearly better than IBS because of its rank and placement packages.
The average salary is 7.2lakhs p.a. whereas in Indian Business school, it is only average 5lakh p.a.
The placement percentage is 100 in NDIM whereas it's 80% in IBS.
Hope this helps, all the best.
