I have got 69k AIR nd 29k obc rank in icar..Can i have any chances to get a sit this year(2021)
Dear student,
It is difficult to predict because cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like
~ Number of seats available
~ Difficulty level of the exam
~ Number of students appeared in the exam
~ Caste Category of the students, etc
For your ICAR AIEEA rank it is difficult to get seat in good Colleges but you can try by applying for counselling and you can even try for Management quota seats in good Colleges.

scoring 92.44 percentile in icar 7th sep 1st shift i belongs to odisha general ews category can i get any government college for bsc agriculture
Hi, Any marks above 110 is considered to be a decent score for CET. Along with that you need to have minimum of 50% in 10+12 in the following subjects that is physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. If you qualify CET and have a good score in 12th standard then you can get admission in BSc agriculture because these are the basic criteria. There are chances for you to get into government college. It is advised to apply for private colleges too. It would help you to choose the best fit for you. Hope this helps.

i got 260 in icar exam 2020 in ST category. will i get a good government college with this marks?
In icar , 200 marks is needed to get good college..
Your score is very good and you are belonging from sc category..
Sc category cuttoff marks is 250-300
As you score, 250 means you are getting good score ..so you have chance of both government and private college..
But I'm not sure about government college but yes you can get private college..
Hope this information will help you
Thank-you
I ATTEMPTED 16 TH SEPTEMBER EVENING SHIFTS PAPER(PCB) OF ICAR UG 2020 AND HAVE SECURED 360 MARKS OUT OF 600. WHAT ARE THE GOVT. COLLEGES I CAN GET IN WEST BENGAL THROUGH THIS NUMBER TO PERSUE AGRICULTURE?
Hello,
As you have not mentioned your cast background, i would assume you belong to general cast. In order to qualify, ICAR UG, 50% or above is needed for general and 40% or above is needed for other castes.
There are the following govt colleges in Bengal for BSc Agriculture, and their eligibility criteria changes, so i would suggest to keep a close track on all the sites.
- Utaar Bengal Krishi Vishwavidyalaya
- Vidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya
- Vishwa Bharti University
- W.B. State University
- Krishanth college
The latest cut off hasn't been released yet, But looking at past years cut off, if you belong to general category or OBC category, you need to score above 400 marks at least to get into a government college. But lets not lose hope, the cut off keeps changing and depends on a lot of factors, so lets stay hopeful
you can look for various private agricultural colleges in west Bengal too:
- Swami Vivekanad University
- Raiganj University
- JIS university
- The Neotia University
Good luck
Hope it helps
