You can try state counselling to find a government college in mbbs, but I would suggest you to even try Dental and ayurvedic, so that you get a relief.

Fees structure depends on the college , it is alloted by government to the cllgs and many times it gets different according to caste and income.

The cutoff generally hovers around above 300. Below is the info:-

SC -  250-300

ST  - 200-250

General -  350-400

EWS / OBC  - 300-400

This year the rank inflation is also great as normalization was not considered though the exam was conducted in two shifts for three days.

You have chances to get good colleges like GB Pant for courses like horticulture, forestry, fisheries but not BSc(hons) agriculture. bHU is really tough for you to get. You may have faint chances to get Central Agricultural Institute in Manipur for fisheries. You may get BSc(hons) agriculture in colleges in Anand Agricultural University, Gujurat and OUAT Bhubaneswar.

Just make sure you fill each and every choice in your ICAR counseling section. It will make sure you get a higher choice of college.

The ICAR cutoff marks range required for OBC category is 300-320 minimum in order to get a good college and desired course , usually BSc agriculture is the first choice. So since your score is below 300 , you may have difficulty getting an agriculture seat in a top college , chances are low. But you may other lower ranked colleges participating for other courses like horticulture or forestry.You may however wait till the last counselling round to try your chance in case vacant seats turns up . Possibilities will depend on number of seats available and number of applicants , so you can attend the counselling , you will get a college.

There is no reason to be disheartened. You may have chances to get colleges for courses other than BSc(Hons) Agriculture in many colleges. But it depends on which subjects you appeared in the ICAR UG entrance test.

If you appeared PCB, then you can get BSc(hons) Horticulture or BFSc in some colleges like OUAT Bhubaneswar or Anand Agricultural University. You have less chances to get top colleges like BHU and GB Pant. You may also get courses like BSc(Hons) Sericulture or Forestry in certain colleges.

If you fill each and every choice in the choice filling section of ICAR counseling, your chances will be good to get some course in an ICAR college. Because your rank is average and you have reservation, so be hopeful.

BPS Agricultural College is affilated to ICAR means that the college has a formal collaborative agreement with ICAR, and ICAR has some level of control or influence over its academic policies, standards or programs. In short, the course provided in BPS college are approved by ICAR.

The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved.
