To get a seat in Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (IICPT) Thanjavur, one needs to secure a rank between 7K-50k. For that rank, you have a good chance to get a seat in IIFPT. To secure that rank you need to score marks between 90-160 in Jee mains. In percentile, one needs to secure 94.7% - 99.2% in Jee mains.

Established in the year 1967 Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology is located in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. The college is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Chennai.

IIFPT Thanjavur offers three courses :

1. four-year duration B.Tech course in Food Processing Engineering,

2. M.Tech of two-year duration in two specializations, and

3. Ph.D. program of three-year duration.
