Im a dentist who graduated a month back, Im aiming to get to IIM Bodhgaya for their Hospital Management MBA in 2024, I have a 9.6 GPA in 10th, 70% in 12th and a 65% in my undergraduate , how much percentile do I need to score and do I need to gain any relevant work experience?
IIM Bodhgaya offers a two-year, full-time MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management programme at the postgraduate level. Candidates who have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor's degree examination (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates) can apply for the programme.
Admission to this programme offered at IIM Bodhgaya is based on the CAT scores followed by the Personal Interview (PI). Candidates seeking admission to the programme must meet the minimum overall and sectional percentile for shortlisting for PI process. This cutoff percentile can vary for different categories of students. The percentile cutoff is decided after CAT result. Candidates must then appear for the CAP/ SAP process. IIM Bodhgaya will conduct a separate PI for other candidates, who are shortlisted to appear in PI for MBA-HHM . The cutoffs may vary every year for candidates from different categories.
The final merit list is prepared on the basis of CAT score, Personal Interview, and Profile which include academic profile, preferred discipline, and work experience. Having a work experience is not a mandatory factor as if you have a work experience of less than 12 months, then you will get zero points.

I am student from class 12 science batch.I am now in a great dilema for selecting my future.I like IPM course very much as I like business more.So is it worth to spend 30lak in ipm programme. Also I heard that while sitting for placement the company prefer the candidates with engineering and work
Hi,
Engineering students do get benefits of work experience but all other students from different backgrounds also having work experience can get benefitted. Also students from different academic background have academic diversity benefits that engineering students don't get. Female students get gender benefits that male students don't get. So you still have a really good chance of getting into a business program if you do well in the entrance exams.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
What is the SAP round that IIM Bodhgaya conducts? Is it different from the CAP round ?
Hey!
Yes, Sap is different from Cap. IIM Bodhagaya and other 8 IIMs has started a new admission proces which not only includes CAP (common admission process) but also SAP (supplementry admission process). CAP is done by WAT and PI conducted by IIM Raipur. SAP will include performance of the candidate in WAT & PI of CAP 2021 and SAP 2021 would be considered for preparing the merit list.
