I have less than 60% in graduation and no work experience..... how can i get good mba college by cat??

Preetam Bhowmik 4th Dec, 2021

Dear Aspirant, if your graduation percentage is more than 50% then you are eligible for CAT exam. But in order to get good MBA College through CAT you need to make your preparation at the top level and you need to get 96+ percentile to get IIM and another thing is if you have some work experience then it would really help you in your placement as experience really matters in MBA placement. I hope you are clear now. If you have any other doubts feel free to ask. All The Best!!!

samruddhiphadatare01 26th Nov, 2021

Hello,

PGCET ranks are calculated based on the score secured in MBA entrance exam.

Hey you can expect rank above 5000 based on previous years. As this years ranks are not released yet. Your cgpa doesn't play a role in ranking here.

Hope it helps.

CAT 90%ile (78/74/56) But had 10+ backlogs in Graduation. Should I apply for TAPMI,GIM,IMI? Please reply asap.

Rhea Kapoor 10th Dec, 2021

Hello There!

You should definitely go for it!  90 percentile is the cut off for general pgdm. 85 plus is the cut off for bfs (since it is a new course) and HR programme. For engineers they will get a call if their percentile is within these respective brackets. But for conversion they should showcase a really good interview and extempore performance.  For non engineers a decent performance in the interview should make the conversion, provided they have good acads or tradable workex.

Good luck
