i am an arts student my subjects r political science ,history, psychology, eco and eng what should i pursue in graduation if i want to crack UPSC exam and become an IAS officer.
See the subject you are doing graduation on doesn't matter for UPSC. The only thing which matters regarding the selection in UPSC CSE & becoming an IAS is the preparation you have gone through. So you have to make your preparation great. Now you should choose the subject of graduation which you are interested. Pursue that subject. The core psychology behind this is that, if you study the subject of your interest, then it will require less time for you to invest in your studies & you can invest more time in your preparation.
The subjects you have in 10+2 are quite good and if you wish you can do the UG program in Psychology, Economics, or Political Science. This subjects are in the curriculum of UPSC and having an indepth knowledge may provide you a better platform. Now its your choice, the thing you should understand is that your preparation matters & not your graduation subject.

Hello Aspirant ,
You can attempt UPSC CSE exam in 2025 as the minimum age limit for this exam is 21 years as of 1st august of the year of examination , Yes you can give this exam in final year of your graduation as it is allowed by UPSC .
I would suggest you to pursue BTech as it also act as a good enough backup plan for you if incase unfortunately you fail in UPSC as there are very good chances of getting a placement if you do some hardwork from your side .
Hope this helps.
i want to do masters in interior design in italy but i have 41% in 12th and 75% in graduation and 7 bands in ielts am i eligible to apply for abroad study
Dear Aspirant, you should check with the website of the university, you are supposed to know the minimum marks for application. You should also check any languages other than English for the application. As per my knowledge 41% in your 12th class would not have a large impact.
If I want to study with computer science in graduation then what are the combination subjects in 12th ?

Thankyou
sir in graduation I have low percentage 43% now I want do b ed. but as per ncte rule minimum percentage should be 50%.. should I do again graduation ? sir could you please suggest me what should I do..
Hello,
Generally the eligibility criteria for BEd is passed bachelor's degree or master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university securing 50% aggregate or above for UR, the required aggregate may vary depending upon the norms of the college, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, now if you belong to UR, what you can do is pursue master's degree, there are also options available for distance learning with universities like IGNOU, DU SOL, IDOL, NSOU to name a few, in such cases there is no restrictions of having specific aggregate in ug level to pursue pg, so you can consider pursuing pg, and based on its scores you can try to seek admission based on BEd.
i got 93.1 percent in 10 , 79 in 12 and 93 percent in graduation and i m a pharmacy student ( not a gem) . Do i have a chance in top IIMs , as my 12 th percent is low?
