I got 81% in 10th , 69% in 12th and 73% in graduation and i am a non engineer , is it possible to get into iims.
HI aspirant!!
IIM eligibility criteria is same as CAT eligibility criteria, i.e. atleast 50% marks in graduation. Those who are eligible to appear in CAT are eligible for admission to the IIMs. However, they have to meet a few other requirements for selection. Take a look at the IIM eligibility criteria below:
- The basic IIM eligibility criteria is graduation with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST and PWD/DA category)
- Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification exam or awaiting their results, are also eligible to apply
- To be eligible for IIM interview call, the candidates must meet the IIM shortlist/qualifying cut off
- To expect interview call and participate in WAT/GD-PI, the candidates must meet the minimum IIM call cut off
I scored 81% in 10th , 69% in 12 and 73% in graduation , can i get into iims .
Dear Aryan,
Hey,
The first step towards getting into the IIMs is taking the CAT exam. The CAT 2020 is expected to be conducted on November 29 and the result will be announced in the first week of January 2021. The IIM admission process will begin soon with shortlisting of candidates for Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.

which ug course is best for IPS?
There isn't anything as such best course for UPSC, as its eligibility criteria is passed graduation in any from a recognized University, you need to be 21 years old and can apply even in the final year, there's no doubt that UPSC tends to be more humanities oriented, those from arts backgrounds are already well acquainted with the subjects, but people from diverse streams crack this exam such as Medical, Engineering, Science etc. So, eventually it's your preparation and dedication that matters, it's also good to have a back up plan regarding this as UOSC tends to be more unpredictable, eventually what matters is your choice, in case you have other aspirations such as pursuing medical, technical or any other career, you can do so,earn few years of experience and later on apply for UPSC, many aspirants follow this path as well.
how to choose my career in graduation
Assess Yourself Who Are You Right Now?
Think about who you are, what youre good at and what you enjoy. This will help you choose career ideas that match your skills and interests.
Here are some useful questions and activities to explore:
What subjects have you enjoyed studying at school and beyond? Why? Is it because you like the person teaching you, or theres something about that subject you can really relate to?
What subjects have you done well at, and why?
If you had to pick a favourite out of words, numbers, visuals and physical activities, which would it be? Could you see yourself in a job where your top choice formed a big part of what you do every day?
Thank you !
i have 67% in 10th class and 87% in 12th and 84% in graduation. Can i expect a call from IIM A,B,C ?
Hey!
Call from any of the IIMs depends on your percentile in the CAT examination for the first phase. When you get selected based on your percentile then you move on to second round where they interview you and make you part of a group discussion and that determines the admission. Chances are they will look at your percentage of 10th and 12th in the interview but mainly your personality and group discussion skills are determining factors.
