I have secured of All India Rank of 1990 UR in ICAR PG ( Plant Science ). I am interested in pursuing an M.sc in Genetics and Plant Breeding. Could you please advise whether there are any chances of obtaining Admission to a university through the councelling process, including the final or mop-up round

Jishan Mondal 4th Nov, 2025

Hello, Yes, you definitely have a chance of getting admission with an All India Rank of 1990 (UR), but it will be highly competitive for a top-demand subject like Genetics and Plant Breeding (GPB).

You are unlikely to secure a seat in the premier institutes (like IARI or top-tier State Agricultural Universities) in the first or second rounds. However, your best opportunity will be in the final and mop-up rounds of counselling. Seats frequently become vacant as other candidates upgrade or accept state quota admissions.

Your strategy must be to apply for every single university offering GPB during the choice-filling process, including newer or more remote colleges, to maximize your probability. You should also consider filling in choices for related subjects like Plant Biotechnology or Seed Science & Technology, where your rank would give you a much stronger chance of admission.

i have accidentally filled "Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)." in the jee form when it asked for class 12th qualifying exam instead of CBSE board. Big mistk

SEJAL JAIN 3rd Nov, 2025

Hello

Don’t worry, it’s not a serious mistake.
You just selected the wrong option for your qualifying exam type.
If you studied under CBSE or any State Board, you can fix it easily.
When the JEE correction window opens, choose your correct board name.
Even if it stays the same, your marksheet will clear any confusion later.
So stay calm it won’t affect your admit card or eligibility.

I have passed 10th and 12th from UP Madrasa Board, which is a government approved board. After that, I have been doing BA from a government university in Rajasthan since 10th and 12th. Then from the same BA Then I will do MA from the same BA. Can I clear NET JRF with this MA and become an assistant professor in any state in India? I wont face any problem with this Madrasa board on the basis of 10th and 12th.

Sankalp Agrawal 2nd Nov, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you can appear for NET JRF and become an assistant professor anywhere in India — provided your Madrasa Board is government-recognized and accepted by UGC for higher education.

Since you’ve already been admitted to a government university for BA and MA, your eligibility is valid. You won’t face any problem during NET/JRF or recruitment, as long as your 10th and 12th marksheets are authentic and recognized. Just ensure your university is UGC-approved and keep all your original documents safe for verification.

Hope you understand.

Do I have to take health insurance in Germany even if I have one in India?

Sajal Trivedi 30th Oct, 2025

Hello aspirant,

Indeed, even if you have health insurance from India, you may still need to get German health insurance because everyone in Germany is required to have it, and Indian insurance isn't often accepted as enough by German requirements. You will require a German policy for your visa, university enrollment, and extended stay; your Indian insurance is merely a temporary fix for the first few months of your trip.

Thank you

I recovired tally course related job in India and other countries

Prachi Kumari 3rd Nov, 2025

Hello,

After completing a Tally course , you can get various accounting and finance-related jobs in India and abroad. In India, Tally is widely used in companies for maintaining accounts, GST, billing, and inventory. Common job roles include Tally Operator, Junior Accountant, Accounts Executive, GST Assistant, and Billing Executive .

The average starting salary in India ranges from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month , depending on your skills and experience. With more experience, salaries can go higher.

In other countries, direct Tally jobs are less common because businesses there use other accounting software. However, Indian companies abroad or outsourcing firms sometimes hire professionals who know Tally and Indian accounting systems. To work abroad, you should also learn international accounting practices, MS Excel, and tax rules of that country.

Overall, a Tally course offers good job opportunities in India and can also help you get related jobs abroad if you combine it with accounting and software knowledge.

Hope it helps !

Jishan Mondal 31st Oct, 2025

Hello, You are asking about the IB (International Baccalaureate) exams. India (at UTC+5:30) is in Zone A.

Based on the official IB schedule for Zone A, the start time for your UTC+5:30 time zone is 9:00 AM for the morning session and 1:00 PM (13:00) for the afternoon session.

However, you must always check the official timetable provided by your school's IB Coordinator. They will give you the final, confirmed start time, which is the only one you should follow.

As an igcse board, A-level (12th grade) student.. who currently has 4 subjects including general English.. How necessary are my English marks for getting accepted in colleges in India? Especially for ug programmes like bba and bcom

Sankalp Agrawal 29th Oct, 2025

Hello,

For UG courses like BBA or BCom in India, your English marks do matter, but only as part of overall eligibility. Most universities require English as a compulsory subject in 12th, but admission is mainly based on your aggregate percentage or entrance test score. As long as you’ve passed General English with decent marks, you’ll be eligible for admission in most Indian colleges.

Hope you understand.
