As you have mentioned that you have secured 1.5k rank in JEE mains but I would recommend you to kindly mention your all india rank so that I would be able to guide you in a more organized manner.

But as per the previous years trends you would definitely get a seat in it branch in iiit allahabad as most probably you will clear the cut off. As far as the nits is concerned you can hope for nits like nit allahabad, nit Calicut, nit jaipur, nit Rourkela, nit Jamshedpur, nit Silchar, nit Durgapur.

You will get 3 meals in a day in IIIT Allahabad Campus that is breakfast,lunch, dinner.Breakfast time is 8 to 10 am,Lunch time is 1 to 3 pm,Dinner time is 8 to 10 pm.You will get extra item like butter,boiled egg,omelet etc during mess timings.Sick diet is also available on request.Preparation of the menu for the week in consultation with the inmates.Days for special meals or non vegetarian meals should be fixed and notified to the students.

According to the placement statistics MNIT Alahabad is good with the median salary of 1.16 crore for B.E /B.Tech .

All three are among the top colleges in India. Placements are also good for all of the three. I am comparing the three colleges based on following criteria:

1. Campus : VIT > NIT-Allahabad > IIIT-Allahabad.

2. Placement: IIIT ALLAHABAD > NIT- ALLAHABAD >VIT

3. Research : IIIT-Allahabad >VIT>NIT-ALLAHABAD.

4. Fees (lower fees is ranked Higher): NIT-ALLAHABAD >IIIT-ALLAHABAD>VIT.

The fees in NIT Allahabad depends on your Family income. If your family has income in between 1 lakh - 5 lakh then you can get remission of the fees.

NIT Allahabad charges around 56000 per semester for those who have income in between 1-5 Lakh. And for students who had income more than 5 lakh, they had to pay 98000 per semester.

IIIT- Allahabad charges around 98000 per semester. All the fees mentioned doesn't include Mess Charges.
