there is no vacant seat before csab 2020 for ece in iiit Allahabad, but my rank is very close to cut off of 6th round! can i get seat in iiit A ece?
I believe if there are no vacant seats after 6th Round in ECE at IIIT Allahabad, you will not make into it, in spite of the fact that you have a rank very near the 6th Round Cutoff in Respective Category.
I believe you should try other institutes like MNNIT Allahabad or other Good NITs and IIITs, and perhaps Top GFTIs BIT Mesra if you do not have Vicinity Issues.

Well, comparing these 2 super good institutes is not that easy...
As per the placements are concerned, the IIIT Allahabad secured 43lpa highest and avg. 20.83lpa pakage...And NSUT has highest 1.25(international)Crore and average package of 7.75lpa, So...
Highest is more in NSUT but it is international pakage, avg. is more in IIIT Allahabad...
So, as per me, in IIIT Allahabad, there are more chances of you getting a good job... while in NSUT, there is no limits of package but it all depends on the potential of the student...

if you lover programming then this college is for you. IIIT-A has the best coders. It stood 57th all over the world in ACM-ICPC and 1st in India last year. Comparing to all other NIT's and IIT's I'd say it will be on top of every NIT if you are considering CSE. The faculty for IT here ks extraordinary.
