Iam an obc male engineer with cat percentile 94.18 tenth score is 93 percent. inter 97 . Graduation 82 . Can I expect call from iim b
Well the scores are impressive. And i think you might get a call from iim b. But i would like to tell you the process follwed by iims is difficult, so give your best. All The best
I getting 60%ile in cat 2018 official answer key, ST ,engg male with 94%ile 10th and 93%ile in 12th ,can I expect a call from IIM.B
Mukesh it won't be possible to expect a call from any of the IIM premises with having this much of the percentile in the CAT entrance exam . Inorder to recieve the call from the IIM you should have an atleast score of 98 percentile in the CAT.
All the best
I have scored 89.50% in 10 , 88.61% in 12(sci) & 72% in graduation(BE). What are chances to get iimA iimB & How much I have to score in cat?
CAT is for MBA u need to score more than 95% to secure your admission in IIM ABC.
Admission Process in IIM.
IIMs have announced the admission criteria by reducing the weightage to CAT 2018 exam scores to improve the academic diversity in the IIM class rooms. At present there are 20 IIMs in India and all of the IIMs open and close their admission process simultaneously with the opening and closing of CAT registration process.
.
The first and foremost step is clearing the CAT. Last year for qualifying for the Common Admission Process(CAP), the cutoff was 96 percentile. So, a little bit about CAP process:
Its the common process for admission into the new IIMs wherein a candidate only needs to give 1 Written Assessment Test(WAT) and 1 Personal Interview(PI). The scores of the WAT and PI are then sent across to the respective new IIMs for which you have applied. Also for your convenience following is the list of IIMs included in the CAP process: IIM Rohtak, IIM Ranchi, IIM Raipur, IIM Trichy, IIM Kashipur, IIM Udaipur, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Amritsar, IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya. Every year one of the above IIMs is made the convenor of CAP Process and last year it was IIM Rohtak.
Now shedding some light on the WAT and PI:
WAT is a 20 minute written assessment test in which a topic is given on the spot and you have to write your views on the same. Some of the topics which were asked in the previous year are:
Obesity in India, Euthunasia, Poor education standards in India etc.
For PI there are some basic questions you must prepare like Tell me something about yourself, Why MBA, Strengths, Weaknesses etc. Interview can last from 10 - 20 minutes.

How to get set in iim b how in
Hi Dheeravath,
There is a different selection criteria for IIMB every year. To get admission in IIM bangalore, you just don't have to score good in CAT but your PI skills, past academic qualification and writing skills also needs to be very good.
The weightage for various components is as below
CAT Score: 25
Personal Interview: 30
WAT: 10
Bachelor Degree: 10
Work Ex: 10
10th marks: 10
12th Marks: 5
So, I would suggest you to focus on CAT score, brush up your quants ,LR/DI, Comprehension skills and score as much as you can. Start reading newspaper asit will increase your reading skills, vocab as well as it will also help in your interviews.
Try solving papers every day a learn how to manage time. It is most important to understand which questions you should select and which one to leave during exam. This can be learned only by solving as many papers as possible.
All the Best
What is highest cutoff and also lowest cutoff of all IIM b school of CAT EXAM , SC candidate students expect that ???
However this will vary immensely every year depending upon exam difficulty and total seats allocated.
Which is better in international placement iim Ahmedabad or iim Bangalore ?
Ahmedabad: Agree is academically very heavy, surprise quizzes readings and cases throughout from term I till term 6 and all campuses are front loaded on year 1. A is no exception but as is obvious from the anonymous traveler below, it has made this very obvious throughout.
Bangalore: Academically, it allows you to choose your pace, but grades go to the intense guys only macha, trust me! Some traditional coursework coexists with case base electives. To my knowledge it is the most flexible in creating and allotting electives that allow your batch the best placement leverage. One can always look to some innovative repackaged and brand new subjects every year esp with all the imported faculty from the East coast, Tri state area and some far corners of the world.
Thanks,
Azim Musa Shaikh

What is the eligibility criteria for the post of assistant professor of MBA and how can I apply for it?
Ph.D. or equivalent in relevant field with first class or similar qualification is the bare minimum requirement for all faculty jobs (in terms of grades, etc.).
Applicants must have received a first-class or 60 percent on their master's degree or equivalent qualifying examinations, as well as a very strong academic record throughout their undergraduate and graduate studies.
In addition, for the following reasons:
Having a minimum of ten years of teaching/research/industrial experience, of which at least four years should have been at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai, and IISERs, or at an equivalent level in any other Indian or foreign institution/institutions of comparable standards, is required for the position of Professor.
As an Associate Professor, you must have a minimum of 6 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, with at least 3 of those years being at the Assistant Professor or equivalent level.
Assistant Professor: A minimum of three years of teaching, research, or industry experience is required for this position (excluding however the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D).
Candidates who have received their Ph.D. from prestigious institutions, on the other hand, may be exempt from the three-year work experience requirement on a case-by-case basis, depending on their academic qualifications.
Candidates may be given a one-year contract job as a Visiting Assistant Professor or a Lecturer position based on their qualifications and experience.
